I remember having a great time with this game, as glitchy as it was. Although absolutely not worth its current price tag. However, this no longer runs on modern PCs (even in compatibility mode), so even on discount, this is a no-go. In fact, it's shocking to see this still available to purchase. This is abandonware. Do not pay for it.

Bought this game back when i first seen it in a YouTube video over a little space 4X with custom ships and races. Was fun until some time around the windows 10 push for updates that resulted in the game not running for me or several others from what the reviews show. Loved the game until the DLC disabled some of the content as well as threw some of the race bonus away without modifying them to fit the then reworked balance. I have not been able to play this game for about 3 years so far and i have kinda wrote this off as a unplayable game. Buyer beware you may not be able to run on your system.

Unfortunately i can not get the game to load after it starts and the unity screen pops up game crashes.. im running a 13900 with 64 gb ddr5 ram and rtx 4090 and totally wish i could play the game .. is there nobody who can mod and fix it so it runs please I would be happy to recommend game if it ran.

Had some good ideas but like many games published by Iceberg Interactive it's buggy and glitchy and unfinished. Also it doesn't work well (if at all) on Windows 11 for many people. I would avoid even on sale.

I do not recommend buying this game, the game is too buggy and unbalanced. Spend your money on better optimised and bug free games.

StarDrive 1 had issues, but was still much better than this. Do not buy, even on sale Everything about this game is HORRIBLE!!! The UI seems tailor made to be as infuriating as possible. The messages take up half of the screen so that you want to close it each turn, but then you are spammed with stupid messages that may or may not be important. Instead of simply telling you "enemy fleets have entered the system" and letting you cycle through, there is a separate message for each. If you have a colony being invaded, you are guaranteed to lose it but you cannot simply abandon the colony. Every single turn you will be jumped to the colony and have to click "Fight", watch your smaller force lose, then click "End". It's stupid and irritating. Also, why are your defenses capped but the enemy invasion force is not????? You're not allowed to defend your colony? Meanwhile, having a single planet invaded will cripple your entire empire. Supply ships will continue to head to the colony and be destroyed and there is no stopping this. The computer opponents are given massive advantages. Somehow they are able to build massive fleets in the time it takes you to build two ships, and their ships are far superior! They literally fly circles around your ships and there's nothing you can do about it. Possibly the worst game I have ever played

Не рекомендую. Почему? Во первых игра вылетает после запуска пока не заблокируешь доступ ей в интернет. Во вторых до жути часто вылетает Втретих баги их много очень много. В четвертых не понимаю как тут устроен уровень сложности если даже на легком противники видут себя как на уровне сложности сложным .
