About
Lithium City is a stylized isometric action game set in a neon-drenched world of electricity and violence. Take on the role of Tsunami, a lightning fast blue-haired girl as she fights her way through this dark and vibrant vision of the future.
Fight, shoot, and dash your way through 6 chapters, each with a unique and compelling theme. Every room has been carefully crafted to provide an interesting challenge and to keep the momentum moving forward. No grinding or padding, just gameplay with a splash of environmental and non-verbal storytelling.
Equip yourself with an assortment of modern, futuristic, and fantastical weapons. Take on armed guards, erratic thugs, mindless drones, and a host of other unsusual enemies. Plan your approach, or rely on quick reflexes to achieve victory.
Enjoy award winning audio and music (IGF China 2015 - Excellence in Audio) by composer John Camara (Solarmax 2) that combines elements of synthwave and orchestal music.
The game uses a novel approach to animation that creates a smooth 3D effect from the game's 2D engine. UI is kept to a minimum to give the game a cinematic feel.

Its a quick and fun game... until the final level which is a drastic increase in difficulty.

Wow! This game is awesome. I picked it up for $1.57. That's crazy. Well worth full price. I stopped just long enough to write a quick review. It plays like I wished fights in tight spaces played. Looks great, plays great. Love it!
Phenomenal twin stick shooter. Feels extremely good to play.
A great fast-paced game with fantastic visuals and atmosphere. There isn't much of a story line, but that does not detract for me. Some levels are frustrating, and the final boss is a menace, but overall a wonderful gaming experience, and well worth the price!
This is an incredibly fun short game that has pretty decent controls and a fun gameplay loop. However, the last level kills all that momentum. First is the soccer-esque minigame right before the end of Chapter 5. It left me stumped and was where my frustration started. Then the helicopter chase scene. It is no longer fun at that point, and is what will keep me from finishing this game. At its core, it's a very nicely designs game with a good art direction and fantastic music, with a decent gameplay loop. But when it strays from that, it totally falls flat and ruins the enjoyment. On the whole, I will recommend this game. But get it on sale.
Quite a worthwhile visual and audio spectacle, with intense Hotline Miami-esque gameplay (fragile, fast, switching weapons frequently) that tests both reflexes and tactics. Got it for under a dollar and am quite satisfied. It's locked at 60 FPS so I imagine it's a good fit for a Steam Deck.
