I'm literally not autistic enough to enjoy this game. That is an extremely tall order. If you really like hyper specific micro optimizations to your 15 character party to squeeze out a mandatory 0.01% additional damage to make sure you're still performing at the level required for the next boss... You STILL MAY NOT BE AUTISTIC ENOUGH TO ENJOY THIS GAME. Listen, sit down, listen to me, These micro-optimizations are not optional. If you don't enjoy spending your playtime working them out you won't be able to progress. The difference between an optimized party and doing what seems cool or interesting is the difference between getting to continue playing and not. This is not a drpg. This is a puzzle game. It's not even "hard" it's not like it isn't clear what needs to be done. The question is... will you do it? Are you actually gonna read all that and then sit down and build your party correctly? I know that you think the answer is "yes"... I tried to warn you.
真結局通關,涅爾德必須死!!! 感謝漢化,總算可以沒有遺憾地去打迦雷里亞了...
Amazing story. Battles are challanging and fair if you have mixed the right skills xD
爬满屏幕的箱庭藤蔓
So far, the story is great, the dungeon crawling is engaging, the battle mechanics feel varied, but the actual combat is so fickle. Sometimes the game just tells you to die and you can't do anything about it, specifically on boss encounters: You can't tell how powerful a boss will be before engaging, it's usually a surprise encounter, you can't flee from them, you can't see their healthbars, and they aren't scaled to their surrounding enemies or dungeon. It just leaves you asking, "what was I meant to do about that?", and it's easily the worst part of the game. I started writing this review because it just happened to me AGAIN, and I'm just using this to vent a little. There's just some other things I don't get about the mechanic executions. For one, why is it that I can equip a unique weapon on both hands, but I can only fight with the dominant hand during battle? Why not let me choose which hand I use, considering how important attack-type advantages are? As well, why can enemies just choose not to take damage from my attacks by passive-guarding? There's already evasion stats (AVD) and accuracy stats (HIT), so what gives? Lastly, while I really do like the idea of the puppet-limb system (where you need to adapt to your units losing limbs), I'm just not getting a lot out of it. That type of system should require a lot more fluidity, a lot more spur-of-the-moment problems and a lot more spur-of-the-moment solutions, but the rigidness of the battle system feels uncompromising. If my unit loses a limb in battle, you can't do anything about it until you leave the dungeon. Maybe if you have enough puppets in mid-game, you can swap one for another, but there's no real tactical decisions you can make to compensate for when it happens. Every time, I'm just inclined to leave instead of swallowing the stat hit. Alternatively, units lose limbs when your party is KO'ed, where you'll just have to spend some silver and mana to repair them fully. Since there hasn't been a moment where I'm too broke to pay for their repairs, it's just a slight burden. Anyway, this game's still pretty okay.
露卡太可爱了!
