Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is awesome exactly the kind i like with mechanics i prefer
Krzyżacy – The Knights of the Cross, developed by Olive Panda Studio and published alongside Neverland Entertainment, stands out as a rare example of a modern game adapting a major piece of national literature rather than merely borrowing its setting or aesthetics. Drawing inspiration from Henryk Sienkiewicz’s celebrated historical novel, the game reimagines a pivotal era of Polish and Teutonic tension with a contemporary storytelling voice, lively character interactions, and a visual presentation that bridges centuries of cultural distance. Instead of treating its source material as a museum piece, the game gives it renewed personality—heroes, nobles, soldiers, and commoners speak with emotional clarity and recognizable motivations, humanizing the historical stakes. Even players unfamiliar with the original novel or Central European history will find the world approachable, since the writing prioritizes clarity, humor, and character charm over rigid academic tone. The result is an experience that feels educational without ever losing narrative momentum or accessibility. The gameplay framework blends turn-based strategy, deckbuilding, and RPG progression into a cohesive system that rewards planning without burdening players with overwhelming complexity. Characters fight using personalized card sets that reflect their personalities, backgrounds, and combat roles, and learning how to pair abilities becomes the heart of the tactical experience. No encounter plays out exactly the same way, since card draws, enemy traits, and battlefield pressure constantly reshape priorities. Status effects, defensive positioning, and timing-based synergies matter at least as much as numerical strength, encouraging players to approach battles as evolving puzzles rather than rote exercises. Between skirmishes, players modify their decks, purchase equipment, recruit new party members, or unlock skills, creating a sense of long-term growth. The system succeeds not because it reinvents tactical combat, but because it balances unpredictability with agency, ensuring that success feels earned rather than procedurally delivered. Narrative progression fills the spaces between battles, and it is here that the game gains much of its emotional weight. Traveling from settlement to settlement introduces event-driven storytelling—political negotiations, personal dilemmas, cultural misunderstandings, comedic detours, and moral crossroads that shape relationships and change how party members perceive one another. These interactions deepen the adventure, transforming historical conflicts into human stories rather than abstract geopolitical struggles. The writing refuses to flatten history into a binary good-versus-evil tale; while the Teutonic Order serves as the primary antagonist, individual characters within the conflict demonstrate nuance, idealism, corruption, fear, loyalty, and personal ambition. This willingness to complicate historical myth-making lends authenticity to the narrative, making the world feel lived-in rather than staged. Presentation plays a critical role in maintaining that sense of life and warmth. The art direction blends manga-like character expression with medieval ornamentation and European landscape influences, creating a cohesive visual identity that feels both modern and culturally rooted. Dialogue portraits, combat animations, and environmental illustrations are filled with personality, giving even brief scenes a memorable flair. The soundtrack further reinforces the setting, mixing folk instrumentation and thematic motifs with more contemporary rhythmic influences, striking a balance between cultural homage and entertainment value. Sound effects and UI polish round out the sensory experience, making the game feel inviting and thoughtfully constructed rather than minimal or budget-constrained. That said, the game’s design philosophy also creates limitations. Some players may find the strategic depth too light, especially if they are accustomed to sprawling RPGs or more demanding deckbuilders. Difficulty spikes occasionally appear without adequate narrative or mechanical buildup, prompting temporary grinding or deck restructuring. A handful of event types repeat enough to lose impact, particularly during extended play sessions. Branching narrative choices, while enjoyable, rarely lead to radically different outcomes, since the broader historical arc remains fixed. These elements never derail the experience, but they clarify that the game values pacing, charm, and accessibility over mechanical or narrative ambition. Where Krzyżacy – The Knights of the Cross ultimately excels is in the sincerity of its creative vision. It is not trying to be a grand historical epic, a punishing strategy title, or a sprawling role-playing odyssey. Instead, it presents a polished, character-driven journey that respects its literary foundation while adapting it into a format capable of reaching new audiences. It celebrates Polish cultural heritage without expecting players to arrive already invested, and it proves that historical storytelling can be exciting, humorous, emotional, and interactive rather than passive. The game succeeds because it embraces the strengths of both visual novels and tactical RPGs, letting each genre support and enrich the other rather than competing for dominance. For players who enjoy narrative-forward strategy games, character-driven adventures, or historical settings presented with personality rather than stiffness, Krzyżacy offers an experience that feels refreshingly distinct. It bridges past and present, literature and entertainment, education and playfulness—reminding us that stories endure not through preservation alone, but through reinvention. Rating: 7/10
