Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I remember feeling sad while being bullied at school for wearing my hair as Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh. Getting home and playing some Mysims to cheer me up was the only comfort I had. To this day the series remains a childhood favorite of mine because of all the memories I made here. This game series is special not only because it was my comfort from bullying, however, it was also a game my grandma randomly picked up for me before she passed when we finally got a Wii, and that same copy sits proudly on my shelf right now. It inspires me even today in all my stories and art, and seeing it be brought up back and rereleased at all makes me wanna cry. I loved roleplaying that I was a part of the MySims Kingdom world as a child (and locking myself in prison in Cowboy Junction for some reason?) And so I invested a lot of time into Kingdom and ended up finishing it, I didn't finish many games as a kid so that made it even more special to me. MySims Kingdom is more storyline driven. You complete different tasks to advance in your quest, some of which include building stuff for people. The customization is more limited in Kingdom, but it’s still very enjoyable to play. Also it goes without saying that Kingdom is set in a less modern environment, you’re in a kingdom after all. There’s also not as much characters in MySims Kingdom, so chances are some of your favorite Sims from MySims probably aren’t in the game. What I loved the most about MyKingdoms though is the opportunity to keep going back and editing. As I got more building supplies, when I went back to past builds, I would get MORE quests from the people (that were more personalized) and I really liked that! Now this is one of my favorite game of all time EVER, but it’s not for everyone. I'm going to be brutally honest. If you're not the type of person to have a strong imagination and make a lot out of a little then MySims probably isn't the series for you. l've been playing this series since I was younger and I'm almost 38, so it's stuck with me for years, but I feel like a lot of players now a days can't see themselves sticking with it (or just playing it once and never again). A lot of the MySims community is heavy on creating OCs and backstories for characters, building friendships with characters etc. Yes there is not much to "do" but the more you play, the more you can unlock new items and you can go back and remodel houses, areas, etc. But yeah, MySims and MySims Kingdom are rather linear and you really have to use your own imagination to get a lot out of the game. Not to mention there are lots of secret things that you can find in Kingdom, such as hidden scrolls, outfits, etc that you can find by prospecting and fishing. There are typically 4-5 chests on each island which often hold outfits and scrolls. There are also some cheats that you can input to unlock a few extra outfits and in the original MySims there are some cheat codes for new outfits and furniture too. Considering this series has stuck with me for so many years, I personally never found myself getting bored with it but it’s not the same experience for everyone. Some ideas to make it more fun for you is create a character with a fleshed out backstory, start a new save and invite sims to your town that you wouldn't typically invite, remodel houses and areas, deck your own house out with a bunch of furniture (sims actually visit your home depending on the essences you use on furniture). Get really immersive with it! The only thing I don't like is the controls, but as someone that grew up playing these games I still absolutely love them, it feels so nostalgic and cute and I can see how kids today could end up playing it for hours on end like I did back in the day. Overall, it's pretty good for a port and I recommend it, just be mindful of what you’re getting yourself into. Objectively it’s a 7/10 at best, but in my heart it’s 20/10. My childhood!

10/10, much less parents screaming in the background nowadays
This was a huge hit of nostalgia. I had this game on my Wii as a kid & spent a truly ridiculous amount of hours on it. The animation is very cute & there is plenty to explore on each island. Highly recommend! I just wish MySims Agents had been in this bundle too...
just as i remember. nostalgic too. pc port is great, controls work fine. now give us mysim agents
Picked this up on sale, since we have a ton of nostalgia for the original Wii version. TL;DR: Great for nostalgia purposes, but newcomers should be prepared for some rough edges. Graphically, this game runs at a very solid 800p60 on our Steam Deck. Definitely felt a bit weird, being so used to the original 480i30 graphics, but this was the good kind of weird. Battery drain was in the neighborhood of ~10w, which we consider to be very well-optimized. (For context, the Kingdom Hearts re-releases up to Dream Drop Distance draw a similar amount of power, while Spider-Man Remastered pins the GPU at 100% and draws ~25w) Gameplay is largely unchanged from the original. Control scheme takes a lot of getting used to, particularly camera controls being bound to the shoulder buttons, and not having a shortcut to open the building mode. But all motion controls have been removed, which is more than worth the tradeoff. We were able to bind LB/RB to the L5/R5 back paddles on Steam Deck, but YMMV with other controllers. This would have been a good chance to introduce some Quality-of-Life features, like an in-game list of which essences can be found in which areas, or a cutscene text speed slider. There's also a handful of animation issues, particularly during transitions between animations, since this game is running at 60FPS now. There were also at least two instances so far (both on Rocket Reef, oddly enough) where Lindsay and Buddy decided to just stand in a spot that prevented the other NPCs from being able to pathfind to the next marker and progress the story. The player can already phase through them if they block a narrow passage, so why can't the NPCs? (Answer:
As the devs have confirmed in a recent changelog, these old games are spaghetti code held together with duct tape
) Overall, despite the jank, this is still a very good source of our nostalgia for MySims Kingdom, in a much easier-to-access form. Anyone who's played the original will have a blast. But anyone trying this game out for the first time should temper their expectations and be prepared for some rough edges.
I was playing those game when i was a kid on the Wii ! going back on it bring the young me again. im 27 now and still have pure fun on this game. would like to have some achievement so i can grind this game harder 👀 !
Love it as always, wouldn't say no to Steam Achievements... :D
its another one of those games where they're all like "oh no its only on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nintendo switch 8 guess you'll just have to play it there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and then suddenly like two years later its on steam, they know they cant get a large audience for this so they decide to exploit and take advantage of their real fans since all they care about is money, still a great game, nice port of the wii version, controls somehow don't translate SUPER well but overall its a decent experience for fans of the original. oh also you HAVE to buy both games together, since again the whole 'exploiting your fans because you only care about money' thing. also doesn't have achievements but does have steam cloud.
animal crossing but with people
Full nostalgia- and hence the main reason why I got this. Loved playing the Sims games on Wii as a kid. Not any different than I remember it being, but I will say I hate the camera angles: I don't remember them being this bad on the Wii but maybe they were, lol. If you played this on the Wii and are wanting a little nostalgia trip, I'd say it's worth it on sale.
