About
Junkster is an all-new 3D action platforming adventure with a unique building mechanic.
When an intergalactic cargo ship crash-lands on a dangerous junkyard planet, it is up to a scrappy, little construction bot named UM-13, or UM for short, to save the day!
Armed only with his trusty robo-wrench, UM must transform the galaxy’s useless garbage into slightly more functional garbage as he searches for the parts to repair his ship and recovers his lost cargo of precious human artifacts.
With a visual style that captures the retro vibe of 80's era American comicbooks, each action-packed issue sees Um go toe-to-robot-toe with hungry trash mutants and renegade bots.
And as a special bonus, each exciting issue comes complete with a Junkster toy to add to your collection.

I know I only played this game a little bit but I can already tell it's great. If the review is up I didn't change my mind.
This is a nice 3D platforming game. There's some combat but it is pretty simple. The stages are pretty varied and fun. The building element is fun but in a couple stages got a little tedious. I felt like some puzzles could have been a little more clear about what needed to be done but most were well designed. The art style and graphics were very nice and I really liked collecting the "toys" at the end of each level. Overall I think it was a fun game and is priced really reasonably.
What a treat this game is. A clever puzzle platformer with collect-a-thon elements and unique mechanics. The art style, aesthetic and overall presentation is awesome. I played this just to check it out and before I knew it hours had passed and I had to force myself to stop so I didn’t blow through it in one sitting. It’s a perfect steam deck game, runs great and the controls are crisp and responsive. The puzzles aren’t overly difficult but enough critical thinking is required to keep your attention. I liked the building mechanics and how there are different ways to solve a puzzle or construct your mech. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and there are many little touches I’ve noticed that elevate the overall experience. If you enjoy puzzle platformers this is a must buy, it’s a highly enjoyable adventure.
PITCH: A fun 3d puzzle-platformer, where you play as a robot on a crashed alien planet, trying to collect parts to rebuild his spaceship. Collect scrap, and use it to build solutions to puzzles, add platforms for jumping, and even build mechs to pilot! PROS: The art style is great, the animations are funny, and the game is a joy to play. The puzzles are satisfying, the building mechanic is interesting and creative (if limited), and each level is quick and digestible. It was a game I that kept my interest all the way through, and is bursting with style and flair at every turn. The platforming is very good too. CONS: The game is short - only 10-15 hours total. The first 10 levels are noticeably longer than the last 10 levels. There are a lot of cool mechanics which don't get revisited or expanded upon. For example, I loved the mech building and driving, but after level 6 it never returns - and that mechanic was interesting enough to support a dozen levels. Additionally, the building mechanic can sometimes be buggy - primarily the camera locking to weird angles when constructing. OVERALL: For a few dollars, I would say it is well worth the price! If you like 3d platformers (especially retro ones), you will probably love this game. The building adds a fun twist to the levels (even if it doesn't get too challenging), and the platforming is great. Would happily buy DLC for the game to get more levels. Also, its tragic this game doesn't have more reviews!
Awesome little puzzle platformer! Took me about 8 hours to 100% but could probably be done in about 6 if you're not doing anything else at the same time!
Primer reseña en español, me recuerda a los juegos de Lego y de Crash Bandicoot. Esta muy bueno
This is a fun, charming game that reminds me of 3D platformers I played on PS2 and Gamecube years ago. Though I've only played the game for about an hour as of this review, I've found the game to be fun, good to control, and fairly creative with its building puzzles. I especially enjoy trying to get the more hidden, out of the way collectibles, which is always a plus for me. I can recommend Junkster to anyone who enjoys a good 3D platformer, especially at such a low price.
Very unique approach to 3D platformer/collectathon games. Reminds of the PS2/GC/Xbox/DC days of many 3D platformers with a twist. The building mechanic never got in the way for me and always felt fast and fluid when quick-building while moving like you see in the trailer. The level design remains varied throughout, with lots of fun exploration and challenges to overcome. Each level took me 10-20 minutes to 100%. The comic-book style presentation is incredibly polished, with the opening menus being the standout, plus the game looks and performs very clean. Two relatively minor nits: - Limited depth: The game has plenty of variety, but rarely goes deep on new mechanics or approaches to building. The puzzles are also relatively light and rarely get complex. Would have been nice to see both ramp up as you progress, but with the game only being 20 levels it never became a real issue for me, just missed potential. - Lack of story: The game doesn't need an engaging story, but at the start I was intrigued by the planet and thought it'd be interesting to learn more about it and the universe in general. The ending also felt a bit anticlimactic rather than something built up to. Was expecting lore/story on the level of something like the original Pikmin, which handles the buildup to completing your ship quite well. Overall, great value at $10 USD and really enjoyed my time with it. Would recommend to fans of 3D platformers/collectathons looking for something unique.
A great game well worth the asking price and then some. A fun 3D puzzle platformer with 19 levels which all feel unique and memorable.
