The Experiment: Escape Room

WARNING! It's impossible to solve one of the puzzles on lowest graphic settings.

The only "experiment" going on in this game is to see whether or not you can escape the refund timer. This is almost identical to a DLC from this developeres previous game. The puzzles were so basic as to not be puzzles and myself and my friend were constantly overestimating the complexity needed to solve each step. There is no story and no mystery except how this game can be sold on steam.

Из раза в раз над игроками проводятся опыты, и я даже с иронической точки зрения не могу эту серию игр похвалить, она застряла в плохом смысле этого слова, увы, в это играть невозможно. Пробовал проект исключительно в VR, и определенно могу сказать, что тактильные ощущения от взаимодействий, ветхость управления и концепция самих загадок - без преувеличения изжили себя. Может ярым фанатам жанра и зайдет, но явно не большинству.

I've been in many real life escape rooms in the past couple of years and I can say this game felt like a genuine escape room experience that can be played on pc. You can either play the game as single player and take your time with more difficult puzzles or play with friends and enjoy it as you would normally do in an escape room. The game environment is creepy and menacing and the puzzle has multiple rooms that you need to explore to find a way out. I liked the feel and uniqueness that each area had. It really made you believe that you were trapped inside of an experiment lab. From a gameplay standpoint i liked the puzzles (some were easier and some very tricky) but I wont go in detail to not spoil anything. The "reset items" button was also helpful incase you lose an item by accident, which was one of my original thoughts when i saw an escape room game online. I think the game is very well done and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys escape rooms

I, and my best friend, have thoroughly enjoyed Onskull escape room games thus far and would normally recommend them to any puzzle enthusiasts, but I cannot recommend The Experiment in its current version if you play with a partner. The reason being: - We bought the game. - We joined the same lobby. (My friend and I.) - We started the escape room BUT! One of us was left in the lobby while the host entered the loading screen process. We reversed it, and found the new host would enter the lobby. We tested it and no matter what we did, the host would enter the loading screen while the other would not. We notified Onskull of this bug and after nearly a week, have received no response and no feedback. We have not even received confirmation the message was ever received. I am left with no option but to make the public aware that in its current version The Experiment is unplayable in coop/versus. If you play Solo, it shouldn't be a problem. If you play with a friend, wait until patches have been released to fix this.

한글화 X / 도전과제 O /트레이딩 카드 O 재미없고 시야와 아이템 사용이 답답한 방탈출 게임~ 플탐도 짧은편이고 키패드 누르기 원툴이라 굳이 추천하지는 않습니다 (현실 방탈출게임이랑 비슷하게 만들기는 했어요 장치 및 자물쇠 사용 등등) 싱글과 협동 둘다 지원하고 한글화는 되어 있지 않지만 매우매우 쉬운 수준의 영어가 나오며 그 마저도 한두문장이 끝이에용 가성비와 도과러들에겐 추천~ 그 외에는 비추천입니다 !! 도과러들은 가이드에 공략이 있으니 보고 따라하시면 쉽게 올클 가능합니다 !!

" Accountants: "Stop talking and release it" Me in the game: "What the $%@ is this?"

Pretty upset that the game is so glitchy- objects tend to fly around towards the end and I have to constantly reset them. Also it crashes, extremely frustrating when I've only got 2 puzzles left and there's no save game so I have to start all over. Don't recommend at all.

I played in the RV version. The hints are broken and when I’ve informed to the developers,they basically ignore me after some posts (you can check it in the discussions). The performance of the game is very bad with a 8700K and 1080ti. I've had to low the supersampling to 70% to get 9-10 ms. In addition ,I've had many black screen and errors every time I've tried to play. The game has a bug. Sometimes the CPU usage is high, but if you switch between "Fantastic" quality and "high" and go back to "Fantastic", the CPU usage normalices to low. After 7 attempts I had another black screen in the last room of the game, I intermediately uninstalled this piece of... Run from this game. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Jugué en la versión RV. Las pistas están rotas y cuando he informado a los desarrolladores, básicamente me ignoran después de algunos mensajes (puedes comprobarlo en las discusiones). El rendimiento del juego es muy malo con un 8700K y 1080ti. He tenido que bajar el supermuestreo al 70% para obtener 9-10 ms. Además, he tenido muchas pantallas negras y errores cada vez que he intentado jugar. El juego tiene un error. A veces el uso de la CPU es alto, pero si cambias entre calidad "Fantástica" y "alta" y vuelves a "Fantástica", el uso de la CPU se normaliza a bajo. Cuando despues de 7 intentos tenía otra pantalla negra en la última sala del juego, desinstalé esta pieza de... Huye de este juego.

Pros: - Spent approx. 2 hours having fun with a friend - Some puzzles were tricky and satisfying Cons: - Too many codes instead of something different - The sensitivity changes every time you enter the game from lobby - I was playing with a friend and we got kicked 2 times for no reason, we had to speedrun to the moment we were in - Our game bugged and we had only [spoiler] 1 meat instead of 2 in the animal room [/spoiler] - We didn't know the game but with usage of trial and error method we were able to acces [spoiler] the doctor's office and complete the game even tho we didn't have everything from the animal room [/spoiler] - Some things are totally illogical and based only on luck - Items were disappearing upon entering a room so we had to reset them several times - A lot of "puzzles" were just obvious and too easy - Unity engine - Your friends look like a red robot without legs xd
