this game is legit too good, its like, perfect. the only issue is the amount of players, which can be fixed if you buy the game right now :)
If you're looking for a game that finally offers something new in the vast ocean of first person shooters and, most importantly, executes it well then this is your game. At its core Cyberfrags focuses on shooting and speed and making these concepts work well together, and it definitely shows, everything (the weapons, enemies, maps, etc.) is optimised to both work well and provide the most fun with the insane speeds in mind. Also seemingly bewitched with insane speed is the solo developer, who pumps out updates almost daily and is nearly always online in the dedicated discord to listen to people's feedback, ideas and any discovered bugs (which are also very often fixed in record time) and it is honestly the most impressive show of dedication and love for a game I've seen from any developer so far. Of course, as of right now, the game is still in early acces and changes are being made constantly (like I said, almost daily updates), but with how much attention is being paid to player feedback and the core ideas behind the game I am certain Cyberfrags will only continue to go uphill from here.. So yes, if you like insane speeds in a game where it actually works well, with an extremely dedicated dev and a nice community being built around it, then buy it, now.
Fast gameplay, lots of wall-run, double-jump, and the floor is lava, but the controls are still fairly easy. Nice array of weapons, no ammo, only heat management. Sadly only three levels. And multiplayer is obviously stillborn for such a small game.
Amazing Game, Worth the price! This game deserves to get more gamers playing it! Also great discord server for player guidance!
This game has been a very positive experience both community and gameplay wise. I would say it has the appeal of a game like Titanfall with the MP map design of a game like Quake 3. There is a good foundation here with solid, responsive gameplay and great gun ideas which are only bogged down in the SP department by a lacking enemy roster and some iffy balance, though it is EA so changes to this could easily be on the way sooner or later. MP is quite fun and there are almost always LFGs in the discord (which you should join). The developer of this title is incredibly responsive and interacts with the community daily and directly, and not only this but is welcoming of criticism at all times. In the short time I have been involved with this game I have seen, and participated in, reporting of numerous bugs and QoL/accessibility features the community felt could be implemented, many of which have since been implemented. This level of efficiency and dedication to making the game a great experience alone is worth a positive mark, massive ups to Dayeed and their hard work on the title. In regards to gripes, I think the only critiques I have now are that the way the guns pile up in the hotbar can get a bit cumbersome and the gun balance in SP is inconsistent, with a good few weapons being very easily outclassed. Of course not every gun can be good, but I believe some of these guns are just not viable in much of any situation. That all being said, this is a great deal of fun with a really nice foundation that I would strongly recommend especially at a $5 pricetag. Definitely worth your money, and a few extras for some friends. :)
Fun and fast gameplay, appealing visuals and design. A bit short but worth it.
It's like UT99 and Titanfall had a love child after banging behind a 7-11 in a dumpster. I was desperately looking for another game with Titanfall-level movement and an arena shooter PvP gameplay style and I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect than this. I love it to death!
Ever since the fall of Titanfall 1 and 2, I have felt a deep emptiness. A burning desire to click on other gamers in elaborate fashion. This game has filled that void. This beautiful marriage of Quake and Titanfall has been the perfect fuel for my addiction and it can only get better from here. 17/17
Very fast paced game. Easy movement mechanics compared to some of the more popular AFPS. Single player plays like Doom on crack then the Multiplayer pits you against players like you who are moving at insane speeds. Those who have played any kind of shooter in the last 20 years will be able to quickly pick up the act of slide jumping from the get-go. Fun and chaotic. Would recommend to anyone who likes movement shooters or shooters in general.
holy smokes this game has insane content for just $5 and is INSANELY fun (some of the funnest guns from multiple video games as well as movies and movement mechanics from titanfall, quake and tribes) made by solo dev who you WILL regularly play with in lobbies; he's also just super active with development, balance updates are constant and new content is regularly added as well. there are full triple-a dev teams that feel less competent and work much, much slower. seriously tho this guy is insane. if u like fpses just buy it, if u like movement shooters u NEED to buy it. my only complaint is that there are some dead-ish times with no servers. so pls, throw the 5, get more servers going, if there's any game/developer that deserves a thriving community right now it's this one, the game is seriously packed with content and plays extremely well for early access (plays better then some titles on launch even lol)
