About
Jump Space (formerly Jump Ship) is a mission based co-op PvE for up to 4 players, where you are the crew of a spaceship. Transition seamlessly from crewing the ship to on-foot exploration and space walks. Engage in intense battles both on the ground and in space, and always keep your ship upgraded and intact. Teamwork is key for survival and victory.
We love co-op games, and we love space. Jump Space is our attempt to make both work together.
Jump across the universe - Select from a variety of hand-crafted missions with random elements. No two runs are ever the same.
Seamlessly go on and off ship - Once you’ve jumped with your ship, you can switch seamlessly between operating your ship, space walking and on-foot planetary exploration, it just works.
Upgrade, maintain, repair - Manage your ship as you scavenge for parts to upgrade or repair it, and adapt it to fit your needs. Bolster your arsenal of guns and components with tons of modifiers.
Fly with a crew, or go solo - Jump Space is best enjoyed with friends, but solo adventurers are welcome too.
Upgrade and customise your ship and guns as you face off against the challenges of space exploration, and scavenge resources to ensure your survival. Reinforce your defences, adjust your energy output for speed or bolster your ship’s attack capabilities - the choice is yours.
Experience fluid gameplay as you switch from steering your ship out of an asteroid field to jetpacking towards an enemy vessel to sabotage its core. Seamlessly transition between exploration, combat and traversal.
Go on missions with your friends and take on roles, from piloting to engineering and field exploration. Work together to overcome enemy attacks, extinguish fires on the command deck or adjust your ship’s power grid on the fly. There are no set classes in Jump Space, improvise and decide how you want to engage.

Jump the space you know u want to
First ten hour binge was a satisfying experience. The lack of loot or reward for exploration is terribly disappointing as well as lack of mob variety, but the overall gameplay cycle is quite pleasant. I forsee the devs heavily recycling content and shuffling numbers around to emulate game progression which I hope is not the case but I quite expect it to be so.. Regardless, the first ten hours was a good experience and as long as gameplay doesn't become redundant repetition, the rest of the game likely will be good too. Also the smg handles as if you were shooting it as a 7y/o toddler while the rest of the weapons feel quite accurate. RIP smg lovers.

dont listen to the negative reviews, if you're an active gamer that yknow... isn't like slow? then playin it is absolutely amazing, I will admit it's rather quick paced but thats the idea of a roguelite. if you stop and wait too long there are consequences. I only play duo on the 1st ship. we can do tier 5. run through legion fields as long as you play correctly. though if you don't know when to take your time.. or know when you have the time to take.. it'll feel rushed, but almost all zone's you have a place to take your time and figure things out. its very interactive and the RNG actually made it more enjoyable than to just grind-loop gear. there are a few missions that specifically allow you to get either weapons or ship advancements. when I played during the original release, we struggled as a duo a lot not being able to complete certain missions. now with the right skill we can duo anything and have some close calls which makes it even more fun. at the end of the day the game is in EA they're making a lot of changes and many of these changes have been making the game even greater and more enjoyable to grind
A very solid space coop action game with great foundations and a good amount of content but can gets very repetitive . Some sectors could use a bit more varied POI or more interesting environments to explore. The scale of some sectors and buildings are too big, could use a more condensed approach while still having some time of peace in between to keep things engaged. Ship combat is very fun with a crew maintaining the ship or helping in battle, its a blast to witness huge battle while shifting gravities to enhance the chaos. On foot combat is basic but chaotic fun and mostly competently done. The game presentation is quite boring, theres a serious lack of variety in the color pallette, heavy use of light blue tint, most of the enemies projectiles and attack use light red particles effects, a bit more varied use of colors in the particles effects could add some good spectacles and oomph. Game still has good support with each big update bringing more variety with balancing coming after. Overall a very fun early access coop game with solid foundations that needs to work on its repetitive nature and the lack of visuals variety and spectacles.
Oh yeah that's the good stuff.
fun game, helldivers type missions but move between your ship and on foot. would recommend
Very happy with the game so far and looking forward to the future of its development. it has so much to offer for the price the gameplay for first person as well as ship controls are pretty smooth and intuitive, graphically it holds up without eating my framerate, guns that I have used are pretty nice no big hang ups as of yet.
