it's a bit rough around the edges, but it hits that event horizon vibe hard, and i'm here for it
Had a really great time playing with a group of friends. If you like horror alien co-op games, then check it out for sure! I see a great future in this games future.
Crashes after crashes, low fps on a 3070ti with 5950x cpu. Random death to top it off when I could play.
Я думал что оптимизацию на UE5 делать трудно, не волнуйтесь, тут её не делали :)
Just get Space Beast Terror Fright instead.
I'll start off by saying the game looks gorgeous! There's enough unique components that you don't feel like you're traveling through the same few ships each time you play. Other procedurally generated games suffer from environments that you get accustomed to and can just skip over. This game has me looking around at the levels to see what's different and maybe see smaller details I didn't see the first time because I was running away from the monsters. Speaking of the monsters they were a bit tough to kill, but it adds to the suspense. I like that they aren't overly buffed like some horror games where your only option is to run. It definitely helps once you get better weapons. The intelligence of the creatures seems good too. Not too smart, but not too dumb either. The general gameplay loop is interesting enough and having the levels/enemies change is good to keep things fresh. It doesn't feel like monotonous gameplay, but I do wish there were additional types of objectives. Maybe something like a hide and seek mode with the monsters where they get better at detecting you as time goes on. Then you get rewarded for how long you survive. Maybe lorewise you have to charge a device and bring it back before they find you? The more you charge the better the reward. I played a bit solo and some with friends. It's definitely a lot better of an experience with friends where you can start to be goofy. It's fun playing a "Running with the bulls" style with the monsters to see which friend gets killed first. We ended up forgetting about actually completing the objectives and just had fun messing around. We even tried to get them to follow us around like a pet. I would like to see more of a progression system so I feel like what I'm doing matters. The developer had mentioned this is coming in a live stream that I watched though. Having upgrades to the robot that you turn into after you die or being able to control it prior to death would be nice. I labeled it "Mr. Flapjack" since it reminded me of a robot pancake. Overall I would recommend the game especially at the price point. You could spend more on a trip to a fast food joint that won't nearly be as good of a time as this is.
I have a 3080 and I cant get more than 28 frames. Movement is a bit clunky, enemies have either no HP or infinite HP. The tools dont make sense at all, the radars are supposed to guide you to different items but they dont seem to update real time. First time loading up with 2 of my friends, we walked out the door and two of us got teleported back to the start, the other one was falling infinitely out of the map, had to quit and restart. Most the objectives are "Optional" but still cant figure those out. Overall, this game might be good in 2 years but for now, its almost unplayable. Graphics are kind of whack too.
Лагучий и неоптимизированный кусок го*на. Всё в неотключаемом блюре, который смазывает изображение до безобразного мессива в 5 фпс. Кривые анимации, враги идущие в стену и сделанный на коленке Voip.
This game has an excellent mix of thinking and suspense for the player. Couple that with an atmosphere that sets the mood for a spine chilling experience for every round of every game type. Very unique tool and weapon system that makes every round you pay different from the last. Character models, environments and effects keep me immersed too. This is a unique gameplay experience that I hope many people get to enjoy.
