About
DEEP ROCK GALACTIC: ROGUE CORE is a spinoff of Deep Rock Galactic with a roguelite twist. The roguelite element means you start each mission with only the most basic equipment, and cooperatively build up powers, weapons and abilities as you go. Each run requires you to think on your feet and work with your team to put together the most powerful builds you can.

All deep mining operations on Hoxxes have suddenly gone dark. An enormous transient disturbance has cut off all contact with our dig sites. Ever since The Grayout, nothing gets in or out.
The Deep Rock Galactic Corporation needs our mining facilities secured and operational immediately. Conventional measures don’t seem to be working.
That’s why we’re sending in the Reclaimers.

The Reclaimers are Deep Rock Galactic’s elite security force. Planetary mining is a dangerous business, after all. The pickaxe is a noble tool, but there are times when it must become a weapon.
Throughout the years, the Company has called on the Reclaimers when a situation requires a little applied force. When negotiations aren’t an option. When all else fails.
Join the Reclaimers and experience a new arsenal of advanced weaponry, cutting-edge equipment and experimental biomedical enhancements available only to the Company’s finest.
Find out why the Reclaimers get sent in when nobody else can do the job.

We’re sending you down to the lowest depths the Company has ever reached. These subterranean landscapes are largely uncharted territory. We’re counting on you to gather critical intel on these extreme environments close to the planet's core.
The Grayout Barrier disables most of our technology on contact, so you’ll be heading in with only your pickaxe. You’ll have to scrounge any weapons and equipment you can find within the mining facility, and craft enhancements by harvesting the wunder-mineral Expenite.

You’ll need to rely on your wits and weaponry. Collect guns, gear and personal upgrades along the way, and wield your game-changing Reclaimer Gauntlers in the heat of battle. Build your arsenal on the fly, experiment with lethal new combinations and get stronger as you go.
Down here, swift decisions and unflinching force are your keys to survival. Fight through the mines and pacify any resistance you may encounter. Time is of the essence – the longer you stick around, the higher the pressure.
You’ll be deployed in teams of four operatives, and close cooperation is essential. Work together, or die alone.

The inhospitable depths of Hoxxes are home to a horrific new class of creature: the Corespawn. We don’t know much about them, but one thing is certain: these creatures are more aggressive, resilient and intelligent than anything we’ve encountered before.
Management considers the Corespawn to be a critical threat to our continued operations. Confront and dispatch them with extreme prejudice.
Coming back alive is only the beginning. Build, upgrade, and master your craft to make your Reclaimer a legend of the deep.
Extensive class customization, character progression, endless build combinations and infinite depths of procedurally-generated caves make for limitless mayhem.
No two missions are alike – Dive, dig, and dive again.

Think you’ve got what it takes to brave the depths? Wishlist Rogue Core and contact a local Reclaimers recruiting station today.

So, DRG never had the best gunplay or graphics - but it was fine, because it was all about fun discovery and creative problem solving, unlocking cool upgrades or weapons... Rogue Core is somehow all the worst parts of DRG... no time, no discovery, no new weapons just RNG and stressing over ammo and countdowns. I have to wonder if a different team made Rogue Core, because so much of what was fun in DRG just... isn't even here? Did anyone understand why the original was such fun?? It doesn't seem like they did...
“Ammo sold separately” or “Ammo not included” should be the game’s main theme. Tutorial? Ran outta ammo. First mission? Ran outta ammo. Did anybody working on this game stop to think... Guns need bullets? Also, why wasn’t this game just a new game mode for the original DRG game? I love the original DRG game, but I’d wait to buy this one. Needs a lot of work.
The game is a dissapointment to me, the performance is bad the game itself is ok i like the Roguelite stuff but overall i say the game is an overprice copy of Deep Rock with a sprinkle of new weapons characters and abilities its not what i expected for sure for now refunding. You did not brew well Ghost ship.
I'm sorry, Karl. As of Update 1.2 this ain't it.
GET RID OF THE INVINCIBLE REAPER WORM (AND THE BOSSES SHOULDN'T BE INVINCIBLE EITHER)! It isn't fun to be instantly killed because you wanted to explore the map and collect all the things! More enemies spawn? Sure, give me the challenge! The enemies deal more damage? That's fair, I'll take the risk! Invincible instant death worm that punishes you for exploring? NO! That sucks so bad!
The devs have lost their touch, this game is DRG in the name only but it's not made for DRG fans, can't agree with the decisions they make during its development.
after the most recent balance changes i think its safe to say that the developers are fully unsure what to do with the balancing of the game. Bosses feel extremely powerful and i tend not to deal enough damage nor have enough ammo to deal with the enemies that spawn during the bosses, especially with their new invincibility phases. i like what the game has in it and the upgrades are very fun along with the build variety, but i think right now its better not to buy the game until they get a grip on what they are doing. I love deep rock galactic and i also love roguelikes, but this isn't fun right now.
For a undated version of the First game, you managed to remove all the good parts of the old game, and keep all the ♥♥♥♥ parts of the old game. I'm a dwarf that spends their life in caves and yet, im as blind as a bat Regardless of the fact that i have a flashlight that stop working at about 6 feet of distance and Equipment of a todler. The Flare's are just as bad if not worse than the first game. The cooldown is longer than the effective use time of the flares, and they only glow in a small area, so you have to use all 4 in swarm fights, but by the 3rd enemy dead the flares are off and on cooldown. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Wepons suck ass. THere is about 4 wepons with 2 or 3 build for each that are useful, and the rest are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hot trash Garbage. So, after 6 runs, you more or less know if you can do the mission by the Wepon crate at the spawn exspecialy into d-3 and d-4 Don't get me started on the Smooth Polygon ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they use to generate the caves, that makes every ledge slippry, and your Dwarf is a Little to Slow to climb up them i guess. The Flying Molly Droid, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ R******D. Allways in the Way, and Whever you need it, it seems to be on the Other side of the Map no one has been on for 10 min, This Includes Solo Playing Where YOU ARE THE ONLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ON THE MAP FOR THE ♥♥♥♥ TO FALLOW!!!!!!!!!! Cooper Also Sucks. Dmg is ♥♥♥♥, Mobility is decent, Utility Meh, Good utility on mining, but IF THE ♥♥♥♥ can pick up Blocks and Gems and Carry them Around, Why cant he pick up cameras? Also,He loves to Drop the enemys that cling on the celings onto your head because, his targeting system is wack. I've promoted my guardian to 3 stars, and i'm trying to enjoy this game, but the Game dev's Are doing a Great job of stoping that rn.
What the hell were these developers doing for the past 2.4 years? They ignored all the closed testers feedback and only started to make adjustments only after the game released into EA. Unless they strategically have developed ahead and plan to dripfeed the content for years to come (which is still ♥♥♥♥♥♥) there's no excuse for this game being so barebones. Even as a roguelike, which it absolutely fails being at, it's nothing but an absolute disappointment.
