TOO MUCH pointless combat and barely any puzzles. The first one is 2 times better
Excellent jeu. Pour ceux qui le trouvent trop dur, dans les options il y à une option pour simplifier les combats
Really fun game, similar to 2D Zelda, but with plenty of funny quips and tricks, and the puzzles are actually quite neat!
Very entertaining!
Too difficult.
bon jeu
A casual, funny puzzle game with a distinct aesthetic and plenty of variety
In my opinion the Ittle Dew series is the best Zelda clones out there. With the first Ittle Dew, while you can take your time with it, it feels like it is geared more towards speed running; Ittle Dew 2 feels more like the Zelda games of the past, just more puzzle-based and with definitely more intricate puzzles. Going from the Ittle Dew to its sequel, you can definitely see the difference in everything, from the graphics to the vast amount of weapons and items within the game, to the fluidity of the game play.
Story: 6
It doesn't have the best story, but the little bit that it does have is cute. It's just nothing to write home about.
Gameplay: 10
Now this is where the game shines, with some of the best thought-provoking puzzles I have seen in gaming, and a very good amount of weapons, items, and collectibles to find.
Controls: 10
Personally, I think the controls are perfect and, whenever you make a mistake, it really feels like it was your own fault.
Graphics: 8
Obviously, it's not going to be as graphically appealing as the big AAA games, but for an indie game, the graphics are nicely done.
Sound: 8
I just love the sound in indie games and this one is no different. I personally love the hard rock instrumental score in the later dungeons.
Replayability: 6
Compared to the first game, this is the only area it doesn't shine in, and that is because the original game had leader boards and was geared more for speed running.
Difficulty: 7.5
The difficulty of the game really depends on the player, because most of the game's difficulty comes from its puzzles, as most of them, you really have to think on your own to figure them out as they really can be very intricate.
Overall Rating: 7.9
Here is my review for Ittle Dew 2+: This is a direct sequel and upgrade to Ittle Dew. One could compare this as the same level upgrade from Legend of Zelda to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Your character is more responsive, there are more dungeons, more enemies, more items, and a larger overall story. The story is identical to the first one too. You are floating on your raft, the raft is broken, and you're on an island covered in puzzles and dungeons. You defeat the dungeons, get upgrade items, and rebuild your raft. When you collect each piece, you then leave the island. I had a laugh at the fact the island self-destructs when you leave for no apparent reason. There is a slough of hidden dungeons and puzzles which I had no interest in completing myself. As, this is from a time where the community would band together to solve them. I could imagine that being similar to the fervor around Fez back in the day. Overall, there's not too much to say here other than this outclasses Ittle Dew and there's really no need to play the original.
