god the bf was so annoying. glad i dumped him, very satisfying. but actually, Josh was insidious, manipulative. he speaks like a gifted high schooler trying to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ their way through an essay, and there were a few times i almost bought that he knew what he was talking about.

It really hits the nose on a truly unhealthy elationship. Even though it is short, it is re-freashing. I very much enjoyed the time spent on it and will be replaying. well done

Excellent example of how exhausting a relationship can be.

This game is short, and seems more like an online training about unhealthy relationships than an actual game. It would be fun if you could interact with more of the objects and have that influence the storyline (like turning up the music loud enough to piss off the boyfriend). Really short and, as far as I can tell (in the two times I played it), the ending ends up mostly the same. SPOILER ALERT: If you ditch the guy, he will harass you online, and people will reach out to you to comfort you and that's the end. Don't really recommend.

I absolutely love this game. I really enjoy the way the charecters seem fleshed out, and how the game made me feel so strongly about a character in such a short time span. Honestly this game is very worth the money spent on it even if just to use it as a fancy tic-tac-toe simulator. 10/10 wish there were more games like it

A compelling exploration of narcissistic Josh-onality disorder

If you are looking for something different -- really different, this game hits the mark! Never experienced anything like this before. I had no idea what to expect - except the concept of you are trying to break up with your partner. It feels like there's something deeper, hiding under the surface of the voice acted dialogue and many branching narrative options. Without spoiling the game, its definitely a deep dive into most likely unfamiliar territory for a lot of players. It's thought provoking and oddly compelling to at first, try to succeed in 'winning' the game - and then second, try to 'role play' a completly different angle to see what can unfold - multiple endings. If you're on the fence - give the game a go, it might change your life.
