It's way too short. The game doesn't have much interactive elements. Just straight-up story telling. Agree with other reviewer that it needs at least multiple stories. Or some different narratives.

Game play is exactly as described. You can literally be done with this game within 5 minutes of starting. Choices don't matter at all because it all leads to the same ending. Even if you try to make different choices, the voice over starts repeating the dialect and the answers narrow to one choice just to lead you to the one ending. I guess I didnt think the description would be so literal. Eh.. My fault. I still don't recommend, though.

That Josh (the in game character) is basically just a guy with mental problems. It's quite sad, especially the way he wastes everyone's time endlessly looping like a broken record... Helvetica something.. I couldn't choose option to break up or hang up, I just stopped the game app, to shut him up gently. I think one play through is enough for me.

If you are looking for something different -- really different, this game hits the mark! Never experienced anything like this before. I had no idea what to expect - except the concept of you are trying to break up with your partner. It feels like there's something deeper, hiding under the surface of the voice acted dialogue and many branching narrative options. Without spoiling the game, its definitely a deep dive into most likely unfamiliar territory for a lot of players. It's thought provoking and oddly compelling to at first, try to succeed in 'winning' the game - and then second, try to 'role play' a completly different angle to see what can unfold - multiple endings. If you're on the fence - give the game a go, it might change your life.

I recommend but you must know that this is not a game. There are no choices and it always ends in the same manner. But it quite accurately depicts a toxic relationship with a narcissistic abusive guy. Essentially, this is a phone conversation with a guy and you have to listen to his excessive ego, excuses, insults etc. which are quite interesting and hilarious. No replayability.

Playing this game does not prepare me from the actual breakup.
