About
An Incremental game about hunting increasingly fearsome monsters, wearing their drops as armor, and expanding an ever-growing village of mysterious individuals with unique mechanics. Do you have what it takes to fight against fate and uncover the mysteries of the Isles of Silence?
Gear up your Hunting Party and send them out to take on whatever stands in their way! Every monster has it's own unique move-set and special way of making sure your hunters don't have an easy time. Hunters get better at dodging and dealing damage the more they fight each foe, and share that knowledge with their peers as they have downtime. Different monsters are weaker to different weapons and strategies, so plan your builds and make sure your hunters are versed in a variety of tools of destruction!
New armor doesn't just mean that a number goes up! Each piece of armor comes equipped with a variety of skills allowing for detailed and situational build variety. Maybe you want to build a set that allows your Hunters to gather more items in the field, or a set that allows them to dodge more attacks for maximum survivability. Or maybe you just want to see how high you can make that damage number go? Different monsters will require different strategies for the fastest kill, but there's always the option of punching the wall until you're through it!
As you progress across the Isles, you'll meet a variety of individuals who will offer you help -- if you provide them the means to do so, of course. The materials you gather while on Expeditions will go into building up different facilities and shelters, providing a variety of buffs and new mechanics. Each individual that moves in has their own goals and knowledge-base, and will provide you with hints and advice as you progress through the game.
Each Isle you land on will introduce new mechanics, new resources, new monsters, and new mysteries. Towers grow from the depths of the ocean, songs emanate from glowing crevices in the ice, and the very land begins to writhe. Every inch of ground you gain will be met with growing opposition as the Isles adapt to the changes you make, viewing your presence as a threat against its very nature.

Lot of potential.
Great game, very engaging.
I heard about this game from a friend and decided to give it a try, been looking at expanding the kinds of games I play. I love it, this game is so relaxing and is constantly rewarding me with new ares to explore and new ways to grow my settlement. Im about 20hrs in playing a few hours at a time and this game is not as action packed as lots of games, but that's just what I like, a relaxing game that I can get immersed in and explore the expansive dialauge.
(Edit at the end) This is just a nice game. Nice art. Nice relaxing music. This is slower than most "idle" games, and that's ok. It is idle by small amounts. You play and leave for 3-4 minutes, then craft and gives instruction, then another 3-4 minutes afk. Just play the demo if you are not sure. Edit: I wanted to add that the developer has been promptly responding to my comments. He has listen to my suggestions, my n00b queries, and my gaming problems. He has quickly communicated about my suggestions (some might get through to the game). He has sorted out my queries (some just needed me to open my ol' eyes) He has resolved my gaming issues on a next day basis. We need developers involved like this ! Thank you.
This has been a lovely experience so far. There's been a bit of a grind, and I wouldn't mind a bit more automation, but it's been cool uncovering mechanics as I progress. I'd recommend checking it out if you're a fan of narrative incremental games. Also, the music is so, so nice. Arley did a great job!
I've been really enjoying playing this, it works well with being productive at the same time, a little like a pomodoro game but with more to do and no enforced pauses. You can take as long as you want To Hoard All The Things or try to punch your way through. Honestly, what attracted me to the game was the weird visuals. The aesthetic is... very unique, which is a refreshing change from the resource management games I usually play. The in-game progression is satisfying so far and appears to be heading in a good direction. I'm interested in seeing where the developer takes it from here. Definitely recommend as an early access game, especially with the intention of being involved in the development.
I am new to the incremental games but I love Monster Hunter which this game seems to have gained a lot of inspiration from. After the initial hump of collecting what I need to craft, the game quickly opened up. I was surprised by how much the NPC's stories engaged me and how much game there was for early access. I really look forward to more islands and characters! Pros: -- Engaging story (which you could also skip through) -- Great pacing -- Multiple goals to choose and content to do -- Monster Hunter but fully incremental Cons: --Occasional bottleneck item for crafting -- Monsters are sometimes too cute to fight :( Overall I would recommend if you liked games such as Monster Hunter or Increlution
Yes.
This is an interesting fusion of the incremental/idle genre and Monster Hunter. As some have mentioned, it is definitely a grind and some things are almost certainly balanced with future systems in mind. That being said, I had a good time working my way through to the current end of content and I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops.
Really love this game, the drawings the story and im really looking forward to someone taking their time and making a guide about all the optimal amor and stuff so i just have to copy it
