About

Welcome to The Lands of Hyberian. The kingdom of Tydrall is ruled by the king and queen. The King and Queen have claimed all The Lands of Hyberian. Never venturing outside the kingdom, brave knights are sent to aid against the threats of all creatures surrounding the lands. It is up to the brave knights of Tydrall to answer the kings summon! Prepare your training and bring your wisdom as the king seeks an audience.

The game takes you around the map in linear fashion battling creatures in an old style point and click RPG adventure experience. With a variety of spells at your disposal, quests to guide the player, and the use of strategy/tactics to defeat enemy types. There are choices on whether to battle creatures based on an integrated health, mana, and experience leveling system. Loot drops at random from creatures allowing multiple battles of the same creatures until possible to move onto the next scenario.

A well thought out story driven experience will take you along the ride. Experience rich lore about the worlds, creatures, and short stories before entering a new level.

Puzzles are another feature of the game mechanics to give the player variety and a break from all the combat.

The time to wait is no longer brave knights! Enter the Lands of Hyberian and claim your victory!

Best game at Gamescom.
oh man i love this game cant wait fo the full release.
Talk about some seriously old school game play, like, ancient times old school and then, out of nowhere, bam! High level CGI comes into play, and you get "The Lands of Hyberian". This game is a mix of classic and modern, It includes some very unusual puzzles, so pay attention and enjoy the game.
I really liked the classic gameplay, the puzzles were fun and the challenges kept me engaged
Lands of Hyberian is an old school point and click 2D game that is enticing. It’s a bit rough around the edges, some items need to be re-worked for fluidity and ease but overall once you understand the combat flow, it’s pretty “zen” to play, regardless of if you find it difficult. The UI could use some improvements as I found the instruction layout a bit messy, but the amount of info given is sufficient. Potentially a UI revamp or uniform section of the screen to lay out instruction would benefit. Overall it’s an enjoyable game and it’s challenging. If you have some free time, I would recommend trying it out. From personal experience, you will need around 30 min to really grasp the instruction flow and combat/movement system and you will start to be immersed.
This is a pretty interesting game. It's not often you find a game that neatly explains how the rules of their game works while engaging you in interest missions to streamline the beginning sections of the game. The concept behind the story is intriguing to say the least, and I am excited to play more and beat it as it got me hooked from the start. I hope the developer continues to make more games in the vein of this one. Great work!
interesting story nice clicker
A great point and click adventure reminiscent of the old DOS classic adventures. This has a modern twist that keeps you entertained.
Old school MS-DOS feel RPG, very promising stuff from the little time i spent learning the combat system and basic mechanics. Combat reminds me a lot of Old school calculator Drug Wars with more control. Some things to note if you are playing on a 1440p scale monitor, you have to manually change the zoom through display settings. It allows you to do this through the escape menu or through your windows settings. A windowed mode option may help as well. Visuals surprised me for a 1$ game, they looked pretty good and combat with the point and click system works great. Font size and Font style could use a little work. Looking forward to playing the complete game when it comes out of early access.
The Lands of Hyberian offers story telling, combat, and puzzle solving. For the price, can't beat it. This game allowed me to think, and more importantly, it kept me engage. The quest lines were easy to follow. I recommend this game to anyone.
