About
An Incremental game about hunting increasingly fearsome monsters, wearing their drops as armor, and expanding an ever-growing village of mysterious individuals with unique mechanics. Do you have what it takes to fight against fate and uncover the mysteries of the Isles of Silence?
Gear up your Hunting Party and send them out to take on whatever stands in their way! Every monster has it's own unique move-set and special way of making sure your hunters don't have an easy time. Hunters get better at dodging and dealing damage the more they fight each foe, and share that knowledge with their peers as they have downtime. Different monsters are weaker to different weapons and strategies, so plan your builds and make sure your hunters are versed in a variety of tools of destruction!
New armor doesn't just mean that a number goes up! Each piece of armor comes equipped with a variety of skills allowing for detailed and situational build variety. Maybe you want to build a set that allows your Hunters to gather more items in the field, or a set that allows them to dodge more attacks for maximum survivability. Or maybe you just want to see how high you can make that damage number go? Different monsters will require different strategies for the fastest kill, but there's always the option of punching the wall until you're through it!
As you progress across the Isles, you'll meet a variety of individuals who will offer you help -- if you provide them the means to do so, of course. The materials you gather while on Expeditions will go into building up different facilities and shelters, providing a variety of buffs and new mechanics. Each individual that moves in has their own goals and knowledge-base, and will provide you with hints and advice as you progress through the game.
Each Isle you land on will introduce new mechanics, new resources, new monsters, and new mysteries. Towers grow from the depths of the ocean, songs emanate from glowing crevices in the ice, and the very land begins to writhe. Every inch of ground you gain will be met with growing opposition as the Isles adapt to the changes you make, viewing your presence as a threat against its very nature.

Stylish, but not much more. The written poetry that forms the narration is quite nice, and all the hand drawn art is very charming. This is pretty clearly very early access- you see placeholders for future content pretty dang quick. The core gameplay loop seems to mostly be sending your colonists on expeditions, which is fine for an incremental type game, but it manages to hit kind of the worst possible timing. It's not idle enough to leave for even three minutes, but there's VERY little to do for long stretches of 2 minutes. Consequently, most of my experience was just actively waiting. This may get better later? There's some hints at automation, but I ran out of patience. Dev, you need to pre-load the music, as it causes SEVERE lag whenever a track finishes, even though it's repeating? This is obvious a wrapped chromium game maybe using electron or something, but you need to look into a way to tell chrome to process in the background. I can't remember exactly how to do it, but I ran into that problem myself in a game I made. It causes the game to hang badly for 5+ seconds when the window regains focus, and that's on a vr-capable desktop machine without any kind of power saving.
Cute little idle game involving picking up lots and lots of sticks, and sometimes you get to hunt a monster after you've got enough sticks.
For the sake of transparency, I’ve worked on the music in this game and have been providing feedback since the early stages of development. With that said, I played this game mostly throughout the beta (hence the low Steam hours) and loved it. The progression is rewarding and there’s always a new goal just around the corner. The effort that went into the artwork and writing is just phenomenal and adds a lot of depth. It didn’t take me long before I was invested in the story and the fates of these little hunters. The future content in the Early Access description is also really exciting, and from the added bits and pieces I’ve been hearing it sounds like it’s coming along well! Can’t wait to see how the storyline progresses, and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxed game with a good narrative.
A fun little incremental game with lots of potential. A bit slow to get going, but the micromanagement isn't demanding so it keeps it relatively balanced. Gets big bonus points for doing something fresh in the genre. Really looking forward to seeing this continue to develop since it helps to scratch that monster hunting itch when I don't have time for actual Monster Hunter.
I like it, but it requires way to much micromanagement. You get to "idle" for 1 minute increments, just to click a button and then wait again for a minute. Now just repeat that forever.
Great game to waste your time on. Starts of slightly slow with the difficulty of enemies, but over time you come to a point where you have so much to do, you easily spend all day on it. Greatly supported by the story and easy contact with the dev for bug-fixes and other suggestions you might have.
I have been playing on the web build and love it. Creative story draws you along, as does the quest for stuff .
I feel like I'm just getting started here but I must recommend this game for its simple and pleasant soundtrack if you enjoy these types of games.
Will maybe retry later but my first experience with this game has been a profound reject. Had no fun, and absolutely disliked everything in this game. I can support a developper trying making UI by himself and experimenting with it, but this is just too disgusting imho. So far, probably the worst effort/result ratio I've seen in any incremental game ever. Convoluted piece of crap tier.
This game is hard, don't expect to make progress easily. Find a good youtube video to watch while you manage your hunters.
