About
Dozens of hours of slow-paced suspenseful survival.
An unforgiving dystopian environment of the Pechorsk Anomaly Zone.
Diverse natural, industrial and urban locations with vast exploration potential.
Navigate with your realistic map, plan your route, climb over obstacles, scout out shelters, uncover loot caches, and try not to get killed.
Realistic handling of various classic and modern weapons.
Day and night cycle: scavenge for loot and scout during the day, sneak around and evade your enemies under cover of night.
Dangerous anomalies, bleak atmosphere, and urban exploration.
Explore miles and miles of forests, swamps, and crumbling industrial ruins. But be careful: the Radius is filled with deadly anomalies dealing damage to anyone foolish or daring enough to get close.
The place is swarming with hostile creatures — Fragments, Mimics, and more are roaming around 24/7 and will take every chance to let you know you are not welcome.
Into the Radius features a stunning variety of classic and modern firearms like the AKM Kalashnikov, PM, SKS Carbine, M9 Beretta, PPSh, FN SCAR, and many more with matching ammo. Realistic interaction, manual magazine loading with different ammo types, and weapon attachments.
Take care of your weapons — if they take damage or their condition deteriorates, they will begin to jam. Be sure to switch off the safety before you start firing! Realistic bullet physics causes ricochets, and bullets can penetrate different materials.
Your only means of survival is to sneak around with your detector, hunt for artifacts, and complete the missions assigned via the vintage UNPSC desktop at the base. Your trusty friends in the Radius Zone are stealth, silence, and planning.
Understand how to navigate the terrain, move slowly, take cover, crouch, sneak, and beware of the threats around you!

Propably the most immersive game i have ever played. An amazing masterpiece. Played trough the whole game about 3 or 4 times, plus some shenanigans with the scavenger mod. HIGHLY recommend!
I played this after playing ITR2 and I'm not trying to take anything away from this game, it's certainly an awesome game and a unique VR experience, but ITR2 improves just about everything that this game did. Just about the only thing that this game has over ITR2 is slightly more enemy variety. With that in mind, I have to recommend ITR2 over this game if you have neither of them and only want to try one of them. But if you've played ITR2 and want to give this game a try, as well, definitely go for it. It's similar but somewhat different. The gameplay loop consists of gearing up, selecting missions, entering the radius - which consists of 5 maps that are connected to each other by load zones out in the field - and making your way through strange anomalies and dangerous enemies to conduct your missions for the good of mankind (and you may as well loot some stuff while you're out there). Then you head back to base, turn in your missions and cash in your loot, refresh and upgrade your gear, then do it all again. There's not much in the way of a story but there is progression toward an end goal. Mostly, though, this game is all about the atmosphere and the excitement of exploring. If you have VR, you should at least get ITR2, if not both of theses games, since they are some of the most unique and well-made games in the VR market.
Is max coming out to play
best game ever it's good but does take a lot to run i got 50fps is good i ran on full set
This game brings me back to the old glory days of gaming in the 90s. Not because of the graphics or the simplicity, but how the story is handled and how little the game holds your hand. Truly a masterpiece of immersion. Even the inventory management felt in place as opposed to games like Fallout 4 VR where it just pisses you off with unnecessary tasks. Into the radius is scary at times, definitely repetitive but never boring. Best VR game for me - now let's try the 2nd installment. Hopefully, it won't disappoint.
Great game idea, executed terribly with it's Incredibly Forced storyline and terrible tutorial. The tutorial tutorial (The one that came right after the first one, 5 minutes ago!) tells you things that it Literally just told you. Yes Bro I know how to Reload the Gun you told me This 2 Seconds ago I would have fun if there weren't things being shoved into my backpack trying to tell me about something I really just don't care about. But, it just isn't for me I guess.
Bazofia.
It's a good concept and I would have given it a shot. Unfortunately this game has the same issue that most single player VR games have. The controller placement feels like you're holding a guys wrists and not where your hands actually are. I played with Vive controllers so maybes they are better with the Index. The story, concept, and graphics are not bad... but the hand placement takes me out of the immersion. I really wish VR game developers would look at PvP VR games like Pavlov and make sure their hand placement matches that so it feels natural. Unfortunately it takes me to much out of the immersion even though I liked most of the other STALKER-like elements of the game. I will try the second one on sale and see if they made and improvements on the hand placement.
One of the best PCVR titles at its release, and it certainly holds that title to an extent today. Played on the Vive XR Elite with an okay PC on high settings and runs well. Comparable to Alyx in terms of gameplay except: 1) Open world, not linear 2) Mission/Objective Progression 3) Larger arsenal 4) Terrifying & Difficult combat, hardcore (You'll want to save often) 5) More replayable Also, having the game mission-based makes it a really good pick-up and put-down type of game. I have had month-long breaks between sessions and know exactly what to do. ITR is a must-play for any PCVR user, dedicated or not.
