Restored my faith in humanity
О, Insecticide Part 1...

[th]PROS[/th] [th]CONS[/th]

🎮 Gameplay is pretty simple with a mix between point & click detective work & shooting segment / Platforming ❓Sometimes directions & stuffs to click are pretty confusing

🎵 Well-design bgm, music & fantastic Voice-acting 🐞 Occasional crash during cutscenes

📖 Story is well-written & intriguing, humor blends in well

Minor Inconveniences: - There is an aspect of collecting hidden object (Soda Bomb), however, it is pretty annoying everytime you respawn the game forces you to go collect them again. Shame there will be no Insecticide Part 2, thus the mystery continue to be a mystery....(there is only a DS port, you can watch on Youtube)
Pretty much enjoyable and a bit funny action-detective game that will surely bring you some positive emotions. Nothing much to add... try it and enjoy it.
A pretty good mix of puzzle solving and action set pieces.
I wish they finished porting this game from 3DS it is a really good action adventure game with strong platforming sections. I liked the detective parts, the noir setting, it's very original and I really wish it had the proper marketing to reach the people. It is an underrated gem. 3d prerendered cutscenes are absolutely great. It's cheap - come on you have nothing to lose. It's great 3.5 hrs of fun.
Insecticide is a weird game, and the context around it is even weirder, but that's for another day. Calling insane game logic prevalent would be an understatement. Bar maybe the first stage, every level of this game has something that could be described as infuriating, whether it be unclear solutions, unintuitive platforming, or progression points that blend in with the background. ... yet, I cannot bring myself to dislike this game, and it pains me to my cold, overly-critical heart. It oozes charm: the fun voice-acting, the psychonauts-reminiscent style, and that out-dated weird comedy common-place in adventure games of the time. It's hard not to love this game. I would absolutely recommend it if it seems like you could enjoy it - just have a guide open because you will need it at some point. (Chrys is weirdly hot as well, so that's a solid plus, just look at her ass)
Part detective game with bug puns and part third person shooter. Overall a fun game, I liked the characters and story. It would be nice if we could get part 2 but it seems it won't happen, on steam anyway...
Great art style and generally underrated, just needs a couple of tweaks (like maybe finishing the game lol)
A game with a lot of charm and personality and a great art style, timeless (if it werent because is old and has compatibility issues with modern hardware and is just the 1st part... otherwise, this game would be just as timeless as Alice madness returns)
