if you are looking to 100% this game, make sure you are ready to do it in one sitting because there is no save system in place. when asked, one of the devs responded with "Hi, since the game is in early access, we have to finish everything before making a save system. If we rush on this the old save file will corrupt when the new update arrived. Sorry for your inconvenience +_+" they haven't touched this game in 3 years.
Okay, I’ll say it: I did initially like this game. Running a Boba tea shop, playing with recipes and upgrades, it scratches that cozy-management itch better than I expected. Totally fun. But, and you knew there was a “but”, you can definitely tell that the developer abandoned the game a loooooong time ago. It just feels half baked and a waste of money. I will not complete it - and probably will be hesitant purchasing from this dev again.
a cute little game with interesting mechanics and progression, but it's really difficult to give it a good review given a lot of it is still in development and seemingly abandoned. the lack of a save system inbetween runs is really frustrating, too.
It's a very cute game... I had a lot of fun with it and would recommend it... BUT, since the developer seems to have abandoned the game (the last update was on April 23), I can't recommend it anymore. Don't buy it... the developer seems to just churn out one game after another to make a quick buck and then give up on development.
Boba Simulator: Idle Shop Management is a cute and simple game. I wouldn't say it's an idle game, but it's something that will make time pass by a tiny bit quicker. It only has 8 "branches" or levels then it will say the developer is working on more levels. As of now, there has been 0 updates for the last 2 and a half years which sadly makes me unable to recommend this game. Personally, this game was fun for the first 10 hours, but afterwards, it was simply repeating the same steps as before and quickly lost its touch. After 72 somewhat painful hours, I finally got hold of the last achievement. There are only 2-3 achievements that takes a long time to grab, the rest are rather quick. 2.5/10 boba
It's a cute game, and overall not terrible, but the lack of a save game mechanic, especially for Endless Mode or late game achievement grinding, is just a deal-breaker for me. I don't have the luxury or the patience to devote the amount of time required to hit the late game achievements in one sitting. I'd love to be able to save my progress and return later - but this game hasn't been touched in a few years by the devs, it's not about to be fixed now. Still, if you don't mind the lack of a save feature mid-run, pick it up, have some fun!
Its an amazing game, but its barley different than just playing the demo on itchio, this dev is pretty known at this point for just abandoning their games, its sad to see, and they are definetly a part of the reason that people dont buy early access games anymore. You cant promise to update your game by having it in early access, only to abandon it and its community when you get bored.
I always played it when I didn't know what to do and enjoyed it. Cats, Bubble tea, click, great and awesome combo.
Got this on a Sale for a few cents less. At first it was kinda fun though this is NOT an Idle Game, at least not until Point where i was able to play so far. Which is not far given that there seems to be some sort of Bug/Issue for me on Branche 6. It keeps crashing my entire PC. Not just the Game, my whole System. So after only reaching Branche 6 this Game has become unplayable for me. Unfortunatly i can not recomment this.
