Pro: flight model and weapon physics is good if you are looking for realism. Con: not a clickable cockpit, and my biggest issue is that it will no longer play offline - it has in the past - but now requires you to loggin their servers.
Truly a game of mystery. A simulation game with no tutorial nor any official documentation found in-game, on steam, or on the official website.
Was soll ich sagen? Die besteht aus verschiedenen Modulen: Battle of Stalingrad (das Basisspiel, braucht man meistens), Battle of Moscow, Battle of Kuban, Battle of Bodenplatte, Battle of Normandy . Kaufberatung: Was brauchst du?
- Russian company (official twitter said "defund ukraine) - Busted flight models for some russian planes - No important WW2 staples like drop tanks and heavy bombers (not even as AI only planes) - terrible AI, the only tactic the AI knows is to turn continuously. It's not the worst game ever but please only buy Il-2 and its DLC's on HEAVY discount, otherwise you're supporting some bad people AND getting ripped off.
The game itself is good: the physics are solid, the graphics are great, and the VR performance is genuinely impressive. BUTTTTT, the quality of life is horrendous. It is honestly one of the worst disasters I have ever seen in a game. Device compatibility is a mess, there are constant bugs with bindings, settings, configuration, and so on. You may end up spending hours, or even days, troubleshooting and digging through forums just to fix one simple issue. Once you finally get everything working, you will probably enjoy the few remaining daylight hours you have left. Until then, though, the game constantly makes you question whether you should keep trying to play it or instead use that time to get a degree, travel the world, visit the grandma you forgot about, or start a family with three triplets and a chihuahua named Sparky. As I said, the game is good — but only if you have a lot of time and patience to spare.
Planes miss proper manuals like they have in DCS. One of the games you have to google everything including settings on which you'll actually see anything. Spotting is ♥♥♥♥ because devs can't understand that a screen is not same as eyes.
