I'm gonna refund this. I played it solo, as is intended I guess, but there is no way to beat the level. The game hints that you can upgrade bots in the "Library," yet I only can look at the stats of the different bots there. I like the idea and concept, but it feels like this was never playtested with one player. Other things I noted: - I had to figure out where the consumable upgrades are; they are near your PC on the left. - Upgrades do not feel game-changing or worth it. - Enemy units can be slow or get stuck, putting you in an endless combat lockdown which prevents certain actions. Thus can't recommend.
apparently it's a game for people who love ai and chatbots or something because it doesn't really seem to be a game or have anything going on otherwise what's going on what's am i supposed to do how does this work? why does leveling allow me to choose malices to apply like "enemies do 25% more damage" and I can combine that with "Regenerate 2 SP" --- What's SP? What's that for? Capture this... Turn 3... I said capture this? Turn 4. Why can't I capture this? Turn 5. Okay, move over there then. Turn 6. I can buy a website? What does that do? Oh I need 25 money. How do I get money? Oh I can gather 9 by clicking this. Turn 7. I guess I'll click it again. Turn 8. Here there's something on the ground that I just realized I can click 20 times and it gives me... 1 money. Ugh... another time I suppose. Wait why are there so many things here? Turn 10 and game over. "Unlock and upgrade bots in this other menu" *go to that menu* Nothing to do in there. WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ IS THIS?! Was the entire game designed, produced, and published by AI? Sure feels like it. OR at least by someone who doesn't know what it's like to be human because the only thing they do is interact with AI always. OH yeah and it says "Full Controller Support" - Which, apparently means none of the mapped buttons show up as anything other than keyboard buttons, so go ahead and guess what the controls actually are or find some other way to figure it out... AND if your idea of "Full Controller Support" is the thumbstick simply acting like a mouse, and you press a buton to click on everything you mouse over including dragging boxes to select units. Just another grift.

Internet War has a ton to like, but needs quality of life features like faster combat and faster enemy waves. Waiting over 30 seconds for the enemy wave to reach your robots is such a pain. Will play again if these features are fixed.
6 hours in. this is like 1 day of training on the job. the game is kind of a joke? infinite ways to make the game harder, yet the upgrades you get feel like they are suited for a tower defense not a RTS. the Bots are not important its the gun the bot has AOE is king. In game upgrades are like band aids for a broken toe! main menu upgrades are also a joke 15 levels into one bot for it to be basically the same bot lol. the different enemy types are actually cool insectoid and zombies being my favorite so far! there is little to no progression in this game. It does not make you feel rewarded. i have found that if you try to farm points to use on upgrades its also not fun because your perfectly good run can just end? like i mean end like everything blow up for no reason without even an enemy.
This game has very little help in the ways of explaining how or what to do. Multiplayer is a complete mess, and for some reason this game is just too hard. You can't create bots without each turn destroying you with the virus bots. Like, each "turn" spawns more and more viruses. The problem is, to get a bot summoned, is 2 turns, and the viruses get stronger per turn. So you are literally doomed to get overwhelmed and you CAN'T summon the bot while there are enemies still alive...
Best game to benchmark LLM - local or cloud its INSANE! fun to play with my hermes - its one thing to play terminal text games togetehr but THIS is great - you can see him move, think, build, attack, get confused on copactions :D
