This game answers the question "what if Earthbound were made by someone who did *all* the drugs?" Absolutely worth your time.
Помните тот самый сон в котором вы ниче не понимали, но было очень интересно? Вот это про это. Проходится на одном дыхании, красивая, по настоящему рандомная, смешная, наверное игра. И даже не вздумайте трогать рычаг!
Hylics is not a game. It is an experience. Do not treat it like a game. Enjoy the epic frozen burrito jumpscare.

Una experiencia bastante interesante dentro de lo surreal y absurdo que... funciona. Hace tiempo le había echado el ojo por su visual y personajes curiosos y me ha gustado mucho. ¡Ahora tengo interés en jugar la segunda entrega!
When I rate games, I like to think of the 1-10 scale primarily as a measure of how well a game accomplishes what it sets out to be. With that in mind, I have to give Hylics a perfect 10, because Hylics is completely and unapologetically itself. From the very start of the game, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere of Wayne's house alone is mesmerizing. The somber yet hopeful music, with its minimal instrumentation, is beautiful. The OST is somewhat limited in its breadth and variety, being fairly synth and guitar-heavy, but the execution is flawless. Each track fits its surroundings perfectly and contributes to the strange, melancholic mood that permeates the entire game. Of course, I can't talk about Hylics without mentioning its most immediately striking element: the visuals. I don't need to tell you that they're wonderfully unique. Hylics stands out as a black sheep among the countless RPG Maker games I've played, and even as someone who's been gaming for a long time, it's rare to encounter something this visually novel. The bizarre claymation aesthetic, surreal environments, and surreal character designs make the entire game feel like you're wandering through an alien's dreamscape. The party members, despite barely speaking, are surprisingly charming. Each has a distinct visual identity, and somehow their personalities come through despite how little they're actually given to say. As I played through the game, I couldn't help but be reminded of the strange illustrations and nonsensical landscapes of Dr. Seuss's works. Even the absurdist humor feels somewhat similar. Hylics is essentially like playing through a fully visualized claymation Dr. Seuss book for adults, complete with an extremely loose narrative and a world that seems to operate entirely according to its own internal logic. Hylics isn't trying to be like anything else, and that's exactly what makes it so memorable. It's weird, beautiful, funny, unsettling, and strangely peaceful all at once.
A fatal shadow arrogantly pilots the oceans. The people sniff thanks to a beast!! It is a tyranny near a season. It is kind of a corrosion... A texturize fire arrogantly laments the governments. The people render thanks to a vacuum!! It is a chemical near a world. It is kind of a government.
filled the beach with sandcastles thinking i was cool n shi just to see a dude speedrun it in 4 minutes when i closed the game

it's good
beautiful game oozing with style and human touch while also having really satisfying mechanics. i was entrenched in the world my whole playthrough and didnt even mind it being a jrpg type game which is really not my thing usually! whatever you do don't try to use the steam screenshot feature after making progress in the game.... trust me
