Hush Hush - Only Your Love Can Save Them

Honestly probably one of the best visual novels I've played. I've enjoyed crushcrush's silly puns and jokes for quite some time (just look at my hours played on it!) but I had always been neutral on Elle. I liked Iro and Mio's fun tomboy feels, enjoyed Quill's silly antics, and had a good laugh at Cassie's Tsun-side. Peanut's phone fling in that game made me like her quite a bit and when she was finally addded I was really happy. Hush Hush elevates them all quite a bit! Getting more backstory on Elle makes me care for her a lot. Cassies rough situation and it factoring into her behavior gives her depth. Iro's good will hunting moment was so well voiced that I wish that some sort of award could be given to her VA for that performance because she got me crying. Mio's fears, loves, and doing the best she can made me want to be her player two. Quill's quirks had me laughing, smiling, and wanting to soothe her all at once. And Peanut... oh peanut. Just like her phone fling brought her to life and made me love her, all those little peanut moments in the DLC were just perfect, that slow burn romance from CRUSHED all the way to love confessions and happiness were just perfect. All of this is to say that the game is really good. Fully voice acted, and acted well! I got a dead end when I was playing for a bit by accident, and the game has depth in its choices to the extent that there are multiple bad endings, multiple good endings, and you can play as you like or use the really amazing steam guide that's spoiler-free and can help you get some tough bits. Sir Vicks was funny.. and yeah. Just a lot of fun for any crushcrush fan, but also you don't HAVE to have played crushcrush to enjoy this game at all either. I look forward to SadPanda making more visual novels if they get the chance to, because if this is any indication, they've really got some good writers, artists, and voices going for them to make something special that gets you crying, smiling, laughing, and feeling happy that it happened even if you're sad that it's over. (Oh and it runs on linux just fine!)

You know that meme of Shia in the movie theatre clapping? Yeah, that's me right now. This, hands down, is the best visual novel/dating sim I have EVER played. Please, do yourself a favor and purchase both the Peanut DLC and the uncensored DLC - they absolutely transform the game into an unforgettable experience. The emotional depth, sheer number of choices, intimacy, the fully voiced English cast - it melded together and crafted a masterful game that has hit me like none other. There is stat management, jobs, location choices, texting, hentai collecting (no, seriously), and a whole lot of love, a crazy shadow organization, and a plethora of secrets to uncover! Each of the girls were written with such care. They felt alive, unique, and loveable in their own ways. By the end of my playthrough, there was a hole in my heart because I wasn't ready to say goodbye (this is exactly why you need the Peanut DLC, btw, thank me later). I can only hope that Sad Panda makes another game like Hush Hush that will throw me into such an immersive, fun, and heartfelt adventure. Again, I truly need to emphasize how impeccable the writing, art, soundtrack, and voice acting are. This is the highest of quality - to my knowledge, there is no other game out here with this scale, quality, and care put into it. I will glaze Sad Panda until the day I die. This is easily their Magnum Opus. Please, if you are reading this, drop whatever you are doing and by this gem alongside its phenomenal DLC's. Farewell Mio, Cassie, Quill, Iro, Elle, and Peanut - best waifus around. You'll always have a place in my heart

I absolutely loved this game. Mainly I wasn't here for the romance but for the characters because Cassie makes me so so happy especially Mio, all the characters backstories were so sad and I tried my best to help them even if it meant the dark karma route. Anyway Cassie forever and I love this game.

Uh… It's kind of odd to say that they turned their characters from their auto clicker games into fully fledged, voice acted characters with the most soul I've seen in a game that certainly has its lewd aspects, no denying that, but it certainly is a good story.
