About

Have you ever wondered what happens after completing a dungeon, how it is restarted or, better yet, who is in charge of doing it? In Goblin Cleanup, you assume the role of a professional cleaner hired by the dungeon manager to clean and prepare the dungeon for the next adventure. You can perform this task alone or with up to three companions, cooperatively or maybe not so cooperatively!

Be careful because the dungeons are dark and full of terrors, although as a professional cleaner this is not a problem, just don't step on a trap, and keep the monsters fed, you don't want them to eat you, or any of your friends.

You can clean the dungeons with three more employees, just watch what they do, because if they die you will have to clean their pieces and blood, the heroes already leave everything very dirty to make things worse.
Clean the dungeons in cooperative games for 4 players online.
Goblin Maid: What better way to clean up than doing it like a pro? Play as a goblin alongside other goblins.
Clean: It's your job to clean up the mess, so clean it up you shall! Use your Slimop, mimic, and slime dispenser tool to help you remove all that blood from the floor and ceiling!
Restore Objects: To ensure the dungeon returns to its original state, you must restore objects and place them back in their original positions.
Restore Traps: What kind of dungeon would it be without traps? You'll need to restore and reactivate them. Be cautious; there might be traps that weren't triggered by adventurers and are still active.
Creatures: You'll also need to respawn creatures and dispose of their remains. Additionally, some creatures might not have perished.
Loot: You'll also need to refill chests with items.
Dynamic Dungeons: Each dungeon is filled with unique challenges...and hazards!
Sums Steam only; Xbox publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.
We have viscera cleanup at home
I will start by saying that I like what this game is trying to do, it's basically a more casual viscera cleanup, where instead of cleaning up the aftermath of cosmic horrors you clean and repair rpg dungeons while avoiding traps as well as your mischiveous teammates, but boy oh boy did they fumble, while the first few levels are great cracks start to show early and by the end of the first dungeon its already fully broken.
One shot every level.
This game really loves fail-able objectives which are fine for games with short levels (like 5min tops) but here levels can take between 15-60 min, and most of the objectives are tied to the area that you'll finish last with the objective usually being basically not dying/breaking anything for the entire level If you die at the very end? sucks to be you that last 15-60 min was a waste and you have to redo the whole level. out of 36 golden slime objectives, 11 are "complete 85% of level" and a whopping 17 are objectives that can be failed due to death/small mistake at the very end
Found a bug? write an essay
The in game bug report will send you to the demo google form asking you what you like, what you dislike, how likely you are to recommend it,... you know, all the generic post demo/playtest form, so instead of being able to tell the devs that one level can be softlocked you have to basically write an essay about the game, making a post on steam about the bug also doesn't help since team17 like always will have the generic automated response followed by seemingly ignoring the post altogether. Not only does this mean that reporting bugs is nigh impossible, but some bugs are still here months later(the softlock example is about the forge where a trap can push meat chunks outside the map making it impossible to clean, discussion created on 25. Jan 2026 with team17 response, 2 major updates and multiple small patches later bug still here).
INVISIBLE WALLS EVERYWHERE
The game let's you throw items which is nice for speeding through levels, only issue, there are so many invisible walls so close to the playable area that throwing is kind of pointless at times since touching said walls will reset the items/meat chunks(which will make a mess on reset), not only that but some runes will give you jump/speed boost which leads you to accidentally touching said walls and dying. The 2 worst examples of this are:

The pool area in hot springs where there is an invisible celling ~3m above the pool making throwing things across a pain (due to them touching the ceilling) and throwing meat into the water respawns it instead of destroying it.
The volcano where the castle is surrounded by invisible walls making it impossible to throw the meat chunks into the surrounding lava and a pillar IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CASTLE so you cant throw across the small lava lake in the middle.

TIME TO GRIND
Damn is this game grindy, completing levels will give you ~200 tickets and ~500 xp, Most items cost 200-500 tickets and a quarter costing ~2k for a total of ~35k (quick math based on estimates since blank saves has items locked based on golden stars and main saves has some items unlocked) XP is not any better, currently needing level 19 for all unlocks which requires ~200k XP (used cheats to give myself xp from blank save to get this)
RU(i)NED IT
Don't worry if the game requiring more work than an actual job is not enough the new rune system has got you cover, Now when completing levels you can chose one of 3 LIMITED USE PERK with buffs and debuffs (15 total) So not only does getting a single 5 use rune take a full level but you will likely get garbage since 1/4 of them are useless due to there being another rune that does the same thing but better, example: Hot Feet = unbreakable objects + small sprint/jump boost(+20%) at the cost of your ability to walk (-50%) VS Thrower = unbreakable objects + instant restoration(+100%) and throw distance boost(+50%) at the cost of the manual restore distance being slightly shorter (-20%) OR Mimic Courier = Mimic is always open when carried (probably eats teammates) + Mimic immunity, sprint speed (+10%)/walk speed(+50%) The 3 slot limit also means you have to sacrifice convenience for efficiency (teleporting from altars would be nice but compared to not breaking fragile items it's useless) this limit is extra funny considering the theme, since rpgs have you place runes on gear so you should have slots based on equipment, each equipment having a rune type like mana to managon/ slime to mop/ walk speed to feet/... , but it was easier to make 15 random perks with 3 slots and call it a day
Can't Sparta kick
The inability to push teammates usually wouldn't be a problem but this game is supposed to be a casual funny game where you can kill your teammates, 3/26 achievements are about killing them in different ways and the trailer make the ability to kill eachother a focus, you can stab/feed to mimic/set ablaze/ activate trap on them yet you can't push them off a ledge or into a spike, which feels weird and like a missing feature.
Worst final level ever
Obvious spoilers but I think it should be read anyway The Throne Room is all about you cleaning up rooms to find items (mana cell/shield/sword) in order to help dungeon daddy (official name) beat up budget link (don't ask) with atrocious animations, ending with a cutscene showing 4 random goblins from a different game (artstyle doesn't match) instead of using your player model This has to be the worst level I've ever played, not only does it not add any new mechanics/traps (unless you consider rooms reseting on completion a new mechanic), it being a bad mash up of all the previous levels' traps, but the design also just being terrible

Throne hallway being about arranging furniture just for it to be ruined by budget link throwing the furniture around when entering
Garden area being a room with 70 chargeable items where completing the room resets the charge on everything. Also for the entire time in the garden you will hear DD and Budget Link slapping each other playing the same 3 sec sfx on loop, needless to say this got old immediately and made me mute the game
Ice area having you trick golems into running into ~8 ice pillars (this takes ages) and spamming chairs on stands
Fire area having you traverse a maze just to clean blood
Yeah you read that right the first 2 rooms will punish you for cleaning by reseting, in GOBLIN CLEANUP CLEANING IS PUNISHED. All the rooms are also massive and empty the lava room straight up looking unfinished with random cubes around the room and a huge empty lava lake making it seem like the first prototype instead of the final product All this makes me think this is either an time crunched asset flip or actually ai generated since I refuse to believe the people who made the first levels would make this slop,
Final thoughts
I don't think the devs are at fault, team 17 has at this point made its entire career about ruining games (E.g.: hell let loose) so my best guess is that the early levels were made by the dev team at their own pace and all the issues we're seeing are likely due to the greed and incompetence of team17 demanding updates at rates that are humanly impossible to achieve. I truly hope the devs somehow manage to fix and improve the game but in it's current state it's definitely not worth the 20€ price tag and it seems unlikely for it to actually reach a quality deserving the price. P.S. can't wait to see what bs automated response I get from team17 (like all the other negative reviews got)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I honestly really love this game, its fun even without friends, but I am hoping it blows up so more people wanna play. (maybe then my friends will buy it T- T) It's really satisfying to see a whole room fix and cleaned. That aside, the game is still early access, not that its broken its actually really nice. It gives me modern mixed with ps1 vibes. Also, its not a game for everyone. I like the idea of cleaning up, having to move things around the map and avoid traps, its legit in the name... you are cleaning. soooo if you don't like dotting your i's and crossing your t's, then maybe it isn't for you, but don't hate on the game just because it isn't your jam <3

Had this on my wishlist a long time, ever since I tried it during one of the early demos/ tests. The game reminds me of a fantasy Viscera Cleanup Detail, and I have been enjoying it so far. Goblin Cleanup feels best with friends and I am excited to see what kind of content gets added as development continues.
Cute game, but the goblins need to be shorter.
Originally bought this game early 2026, I did not refund because was hoping to see good progress. We are now late in 2026, and unfortunatly have not really seen much meaninful progress. Compared to games like Viscera cleanup and crime scene cleaner there is not really much to do, I think this comes to how easy the game is. Basically the early stages have 3 parts, but there is no real strategy to it. You can get rid of organics, clean up blood, or replace furnature. Any order works unlike and there are no consequences for choosing a wrong order. Unlike Viscera and crimescene, choosing to leave blood and clean up organics often lead to bloody footprints that had to be cleaned up later, while cleaning up blood first might dislodge organics which make further mess. This add some kind of strategy and interest in "how do I clean this mess?", where this game is the same thing kind of over and over. Clean 1, clean 2, clean 3, done move-on. Also the mana charging thing although an attempt at making the game interesting which is great, ends up being more meh than yeh. In the first level, there is a gate you can charge/uncharge which is cool, however the rest of the level progresses to charge 10 torches across 3 zones, which is very much not interesting. I also really like the inclusion of the tree, however, it very much is not implimented well, the branches raise which should be an indicator its going to attack, however, it seems to have another 10 or so seconds of lag before it visually resets before it will attack again, which is a bit annoying. Overall, I dont think this holds up as a solid cleaning game, compared to the games already released in this genre.
Unfortunately one of the most boring games I have played in a long time. There is a reason the devs removed their demo. I can say the art is so freaking cute though. Watch some no commentary gameplay and you will see how tedious the game is though.
Olha, fazia tempo q eu não me divertia tanto num jogo, viu... Super recomendo!!!
