Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 16.86/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Played it on release (not on Steam). Dropped it. Came back to a much better experience.
Замечательная 4Х стратегия, и как ни странно лучше чем CIV7
Pretyy good game. If only they could update naval force battles and allow ships to shoot land objects... would be great

Humankind is vulnerable to falling into the shadow of Civilization VII but is nevertheless a fun game. Civ will always have an edge because of its high production value and solid character design, but Humankind is fun with respect to its customizability and battle system. The Neolithic Era is also a fun way to start each game. Take Humankind as a game that's stuck in its initial design choices while being ahead of its time. In particular, I wish the leaders weren't so forgettable and the dialogue so corny, but there's another world where Amplitude had doubled down on the customizability and focused on being more of a toolbox game in contrast to Civ's curation. (Think Stellaris meets Endless Space/Legend). I hope they get closer to that before they finally move on. It helps that the devs still release occasional updates, even though it still has bugs that date back to at least a couple of years ago (e.g., units getting stuck in combat, requiring a reload). I'd be on board for a Humankind 2, but for now, I return to this game every now and then.
Haven't played Civ so i can't compare the two but i d know this game entertained me a lot, its fun, the gameplay changes with each era and you really have the feeling you need to adapt your strategies to keep up with the rest of te factions ingame and with technologica advancements of the time, the game looks awesome and has some cool features like pollution management and spheres of influence, other stuff like combat (which is surprisingly more strategy-based than one would expect) is really engaging, things like sieges can last several turns and each one of your actions can affect the battle's outcome. At the end you'll look at the cities you've built and the empire you've risen and you'll just feel pleased; overall an 8/10, if ur into these types of games i definetely recommend it.
Gutes spiel nur bisschen velraltet und naja ich habs für 10 euro bekpmmen das war nwn guter preis(=
I struggle to reccomend this one. I enjoy it, it's fun. But it's poorly optimized and always has been. If you want a fun Civ like game. This game is it. The combat is very good. The scalling is balanced and it's hard to snowball. The devs still update the game. But the player count and amount of mods is low. And as it's so poorly optimized. If your pc is around the reccomended specs, you will struggle to play the game on minimum settings.
Great game, nice change from Civ.
