Honestly, this game is pretty satisfying and even kind of fun, in fact it's a blast and I have to recommend it whole heartedly. The negative reviews on this game are funny so let's have fun with that. To start with this game is for creatives. You know the people who shop at Goodwill and can enhance, change and create something incredibly unique with the help of a design gun (found in your arsenal of tools) to make your furniture cozy. Second, the lighting in this game is adjustable. The lighting can be adjusted two different ways - one in your computer settings/game settings OR in the game itself by clicking on each lamp or light fixture. Reading the devs explanation on the community tab helps. I mean if you're not too busy complaining about the lighting to look. Third, some of the DLC maps have small rooms which test your design skills. This isn't the Sims where everything is already fit exactly perfectly. You have to use imagination and think like an engineer. But hey it's a video game after all. Fourth, there's bugs that are being addressed and updated on a regular basis. Join the Discord server and voice your concerns there instead of in a review of the game. Helps the devs address them and won't give the Steam audience a bad impression of the game. Lastly, and most importantly, this game can be played independently without all the DLCS but they add on many new and exciting features - building an entire house from scratch, acquiring cool new tools like the duplicate gun (for example) and giving you an opportunity to experience the game as it was intended. If price point is your concern maybe this isn't for you. I bought all the DLC's especially remastered and I love it! Overall, while i love the concept I question the negative reviews about this game. It delivers what it offers and it's longevity speaks more volumes than someone who wants the Taj Mahal for the price of a Happy Meal. It's more than satisfying and it's a really fun game to play.
