Builder Simulator commits to its premise with an earnestness that is almost admirable: you will build a house, brick by brick, from foundation to roof, with no narrative scaffolding to hold your interest up and no campaign to give the whole enterprise a sense of purpose beyond the finished building sitting there, done, staring back at you. For a certain kind of player, that pure sandbox loop is enough. For everyone else, the novelty wears off around the time you realize you have been staring at a wall for forty minutes and feeling nothing. The ghost blueprint system at least tells you what each action will produce before you commit to it, which is a reasonable quality of life feature. The problem is that the sense of accomplishment it delivers is wildly inconsistent: one interaction places a single brick, another drops an entire door frame into existence, and the game never manages to make either feel proportionate to the effort involved. Progress lurches forward in uneven intervals rather than building into a satisfying rhythm, and that inconsistency quietly hollows out whatever momentum you were trying to sustain. What the game genuinely needed was a campaign, something like managing a construction company, juggling contracts, building a reputation, maybe occasionally firing someone for mixing the cement wrong. Structure transforms repetition into rhythm, and without it Builder Simulator is just busywork dressed up as a hobby. Job simulators work as a genre because they let you roleplay a job, not perform one. The best of them make you feel like you escaped into something. Builder Simulator occasionally makes you feel grateful you don't do this for a living, which is the wrong direction entirely. 5/10
Игра оказалась максимально скучной. Свобода действий практически отсутствует: система сама показывает, где нужно исправить ошибку, из-за чего теряется интерес к процессу. А что, если я намеренно хочу построить что-то неправильно? Обучение тоже утомляет, диалоги нельзя пропустить, поэтому вместо быстрых 2–3 минут приходится около 5 минут слушать бесконечные объяснения пиксельного робота. Игра пройдена за 10 часов.
Я потратил на эту игру слишком много времени, которого она не заслужила. Потенциал профукан, игра - набор ассетов, играется невероятно уныло, особенно при просмотре роликов Унылого. Не рекомендую.

In one word: Boring Everything is super restricted, there is no management whatsoever, and there is no real variety of anything.
It generally fells abandont, it had so much potential but it got limited by it own developers, now even with the ``dlc`` they are pretending to lauch, i dont think it would save the core game, they could have added basements ondet roof types other building types, advanced personalisation of furniture, of house planing, insted it ended up being super repetitive and non rewarding. For the DEVS: if you are reading please give more love for your game, it have so much potential to be one of the best building simulators, just dont abandone it in a incomplet state while being a boring simulaitor Give your best to revive it!
