Silksong is a really wonderful game, that is unless you played the first one. If I have to be really honest, the difficulty can be pretty harsh eventhough I'm like fine with it after a 2nd playthrough. The reward for mastering the mechanics is way more satisfying than Hollow Knight in the end imo. I do like the charm, crest and tool system, it's great and the amount of variety does give some replayability for me. But with great gameplay, I do think it can be flawed at times. I think the exploration can be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like for example; there's a secret passage with no visual indicator of being and a very too-well hidden bench in one of the worst areas in the game. There's also some bosses I'd like tweaked, more desirably the aerial ones, I do not like how they'll make their distance go that far from you. Overall, Silksong does live up to the hype and I'm pretty much satisfied with everything it has to offer as a huge hollow knight fan.
