Surprisingly good. Decided to buy the rest of the content after playing for one night.

mi aiuta a tenere il cortisolo basso dopo intense sessioni di league of legends
I'm not much of a san rio person, but I was looking for an alternative to animal crossing now that I have a Steam Deck (technically a legion go s) and oh my gosh, this not only has replaced animal crossing but it is far, far better. The game is absolutely beautiful, the gameplay is fun, the characters are adorable, and everything is wholesome. First off, the concept that me and my friends are skydiving into an abandoned amusement park and fixing it up again is insanely cool. The different areas have so much variety (spooky to mountainous to climbing frosty mountains to beach resort to underwater world to soooo much more) and the ability to decorate cabins for myself and others as part of the base game, all while crafting and working on friendship with characters is great. I typically dislike live service style games, (and that is only a small, small, tiny part of this game) but I will say the events they have are frequent, easy, cute, and fun. Again, normally when I hear "in game event," I typically run away FAST. But this one doesn't ask for money and you get items by doing normal gameplay and starting the game. So I'm okay with that. Every time I'm like "hmmmm I wish the game would do xyz," within the next 5 hours of playtime, that actually happens. For example, wanting to swim underwater for longer/faster/etc. or to automatically change into an aquatic outfit. I can't think of any improvement that the game doesn't have as something you already unlock or earn. Another example would be the ability to speed up/skip crafting animations or be able craft multiple items at once (an upgrade from AC). Or making some things mini. Or allowing you to put crafting things in your house. The DLC I think is worth it and the price is pretty okay. For both DLC's, I started them thinking that they were really sparse and thought I wouldn't enjoy them. But they actually do unlock some really cool things and the more you get into them, the more stuff you realize that there is to do. The theming for both really add to what the main storyline is lacking, too (fairytale + modern aesthetics). They give the game a holistic edge. But again, it takes awhile to actually get into them. There was some controversy before about having smaller paid DLCs. I looked into it and it seems like the plan for these are to be substantive and additive to gameplay. The economy sucks, but it affects both me and the people who make this game, so I'm very okay with supporting them with these packs. Realistically, with the hours I have put into this game and continue to put into this game, I feel like when I bought the deluxe version on sale, it was a total bargain and that's part of why I'm also okay with this. As long as they don't change this to in-game currency or little "kit" or "stuff" packs like the sims, I'm chill with it. Overall, I'm head over heels for this game. It is relaxing and almost joyful to play with a controller because of how smooth the animations are. I almost didn't buy it because of reviewers that called it a fetch quest game (and I hated fetch quests in skyrim), but to me it doesn't feel like a fetch quest game at all. You decorate, craft, use tools, have quests, build friendships, and so much more. I can't reccommend this game enough.
