I have only three words to describe this game: trash, shame, and creepiness.

Crashes a lot. Has trouble loading. Controls are hard to use. Exactly like Animal Crossing but with worse graphics, and literally just worse everything. Don't waste your money!
I am giving it a thumbs up! For a clone, not horrible. Dev need to adjust some minor things. but as a time waster, it's fine. It grows on you, lol. Gets 10/10 for triggering all the AC FAN peeps who should be more angry that Nintendo did not even care about supporting ACNH.. PRIORITIES PPL. There are and always will be games that are heavily inspired by others. You either play them or you don't. I love AC, have for many years. But I am not triggered by games like this. I am more curious about them. Life is too short. Breathe and calm down. Meditate or something. Now, back to Isla. ALSO- That carpet sales lizard is SCARY AF! (O_0) Lol
Isla Sinaloa is a shameless ripoff of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It's not a clone, it's not inspired by it - it's the bootleg dollar store version. It mimics practically all the mechanics of New Horizons: a virtual phone with apps, credits from tasks, most of the UI, speech sounds, a bank/store, zoo/museum, loan for your first house, a bin you place things in to sell, tickets to visit other islands. The list could go on and on. The game doesn't bring enough new to the table and the mechanics it mimics are to a much, much lesser quality. It's missing polish and many quality of life features. For instance, tools get worn down and break but this isn't shown to you anywhere - they'll just randomly break at some point. There's no item wheel and you can't use the number keys to switch tools - you have to open your backpack and tediously switch between items. You have to visit the construction building to craft anything. The camera snaps during cutscenes instead of smoothly panning. You can only place items down in your house or elsewhere by clicking "place item" from your inventory - instead of a having a build mode where you can more accurately/speedily place/move items. Clicking to interact with items will occasionally cause you to interact with something completely different, or your character will freak out and rotate around a bunch. There are no outlines of the fish in the water like in AC:NH, you just randomly throw your rod into water. Like the list of things it copies from AC:NH, the list of subpar features could go on and on. I stopped playing after 30 minutes when I got tired of the lack of polish and the list of major tasks to do without waiting ran out. Worst of all is the graphics lack charm like in AC:NH - the characters specifically are uncanny, bug-eyed nightmare fuel. Not to mention it's a $19.99 game with in-app purchases. If you're looking for something to scratch the Animal Crossing itch, this isn't it.
