About

Enter the explosive conflict of the Vietnam War and fight your way through some of the fiercest clashes in modern history. Join the battle raging across an extreme landscape of vast mountain gorges and thick jungle, where the North Vietnamese Armies clash with the military strength of the US Armed Forces. Build tunnels, fly helicopters, drive patrol boats, use historically accurate weapons and work with your team to achieve victory.

Take the battle to the enemy across 6 large-scale maps inspired by real world locations. Play as either the North Vietnamese Army or US Armed Forces and choose from one of 17 specialised roles within a 50-strong team made up of multiple squads. Join or lead infantry, recon, armour, mortar squads and helicopter units, using communication and teamwork with your fellow players to identify objectives and ruthlessly exploit your opponent’s weaknesses. Emergent gameplay features bring intensity and realism to the conflict, as players tackle each battle with authentic weapons, orders and tactics. Follow the chain of command and work together as a team to meet your objectives and achieve victory.

In the heat and fury of the Vietnam War, the battle is more dynamic than ever. New US aerial units feature fully operational helicopters for fire support and supply drops. NVA forces can build extensive tunnel networks to gain the upper hand with surprise attacks. Both sides can hunt the enemy through Vietnam’s complex river network with heavily armed patrol boats built and launched to seek and destroy. Enhanced player movement, including swimming, climbing and fast crawling, and interactions such as dragging co-combatants away from active fire to give them a chance to heal and re-engage, all adds to the immersive battle experience.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam features multiple distinct gameplay modes pitting players against each other in epic 50 vs 50 multiplayer battles. Warfare mode is a 50 vs 50 tug-of-war style confrontation where two teams fight for control over 5 sectors. Offensive breaks down the opposing forces into an attacking side and a defending side. Alternating new game modes mix up the gameplay parameters to maximise the battlefield experience. This is as immersive as warfare gets!

Great game! Not realistic, not meant to be either its all Communication and if you lean into that aspect its a good time. there are people there for the Memes, fake accents, interesting... word choices... these people are here to play COD and just want the Vietnam setting without going to play Black ops 1. let these guys take your rifleman roles and just run around. The roles all have something to bring to the table it does require some self reflection on what YOU want to do to help the team as a whole, looking around and seeing what is truly needed to help the whole. I find that sacrificing the rifle for a pistol on medic, Engineer, mortar crew and other specialists that can bring more equipment at that point do so much more for everyone around. Vehicles are awesome! being an Engineer with a friend on discord who is a support driving a supply truck back and forth for you to build up defenses. Tanks are a good time if you actually know the team have a discord and everyone sticks to a role, use call outs do some research and have some actual tank crew comms and it makes it a role play while being a critical asset to the team as a whole, just make sure the commander IS THE COMMANDER. Helos are essential to any Vietnam game, and as the US they are incredible but not essential, a team with 6 pilots who are competent enough to solo fly is 6 helocopters in the match a blend of supplies and transports they are not meant for combat but a lot of pilots only use them as bullet sponges. the Viet cong have tunnels, they are unique and an interesting idea that i believe where executed as well as it could have been. Weapons are historical and are unique to each side after you play enough you can tell the difference of a thumping AK and a ziptie M-16, a stomping M-60 an a chittering RPD. even the tanks have unique sounds to their own. the Patton is quieter engine turret wine is so loud that you got to speak over it. The T-55 engine can be heard across a river if you know what to listen for. Conclusion; game is a work of love that many want to play COD in like children in an interactive museum. Take the time to realize you are not a one man army but a soldier who needs to communicate with you squad, and a squad leader who needs to listen to other squads and the command player. A command player is not playing in person they are hiding on a point or the HQ point and opening the Map giving orders and coordinating the tanks to help infantry, helos to pick up squads and get them places, calling artillery. This game is awesome! 15/10 recommended to all my friends

The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It's not perfect but it is realy fun.
This game had a bit of a rough start but despite it i would reccomend it(especially if you liked HLL) - Quite a bit of bugs that made the experience worse (one of the most annoying ones were the medic UI bug) - Not a lot of weapons for now along with one type of tank (tho new weapons and APCs were announced) - Balancing issues Vietnam tends to [strike]curb[/strike] stomp a lot of the matches - For me tanks are overly survivable (one time a tank lived through AT 8 rockets) - sight for the M72 LAW is just awful it just smears with the slightest movement(especially when framegen is on) (also i am not sure but i think that the game has quite a problem with registering hits) + The community is awsome and i love the shenanigans that are happening on the VC I just love hearing people yell "G.I. GO HOME" or one time I had a pilot of a heli that was flying exceptionally low yell "GIVE THEM HELL BOYS" while I was rushing a point + I love the new loadout system(+ the ability to manage ammo like taking 3 rockets instead of an item) + A lot of people say that the tutorial is too long which i agree with its very long but it tells you how to play the roles so you dont have as much clueless teammates not knowing how to play their role + The recoil is finally not absurdly strong like in base HLL

Words cannot describe how addictive and emersive this game is. Great job
Great detail. I am enjoying it a lot.
it can sometimes be buggy, but thats normal for a recent game. Apart from that, no complaints, honestly they did a great job.
I really like this game. The jungle gunfights are intense and forces your team to go slow and rely on tactics to take positions. Despite the outdated FX, I still think the game is immersive and it hasn’t bothered me. There are some serious issues like the washed out yellow/orange lighting that I hope gets addressed as it makes visibility unnecessarily difficult. I also despise that I have to grind the game to level up to get basic weapons and gear capacity, but unfortunately that’s common with games these days. It just makes the game not as fun for the first few hours. For $40, I’d recommend trying it out and giving it some time to learn how to play. It has a lot of potential if regular updates keep happening
