READ BEFORE BUY! ) Unlike the stupid reviews that are aware that the game doesn't work for multiplayer AKA Custom zombies with friends due to the companies laziness PEOPLE CONTINUE to thumbs up the game without leaving bad reviews so people who are looking to buy it aren't wasting their money and time. You'll have to buy the game off a key site instead of on steam because the keys they have on steam are outdated and when you try to make an online account it will decline it and leave you at a loop of trying to make an account. So don't listen to the stupid positive reviews, they bought a game for a 3hr campaign due to a lack of friends aware of the issues online and pretend it isn't happening. DO NOT BUY ON STEAM UNTIL THEY FIX IT OTHERWISE ENJOY SINGLE PLAYER & A HEADACHE. edit- comments closed bc too many people wanna blow plutonium devs and activision, this isn't reddit lmao, you shouldnt have to use third party software to play a game you pay for on steam :)

This release is broken as of mid 2026. Optimization with menus and resolution is outdated, but the main issue is Multiplayer's scourge of hacker fiefdom. It is literally dangerous to play this game's multiplayer without a certain level of protection equipped. If you must play online (or Zombies), look into Plutonium for a more stable and secure server environment. Population may vary. It is hard to recommend this game, in its current state. It is unlikely this will ever be fixed, now that two of its sequels are being re-released (barebones).

please do not play this game vanilla as you could be in danger of your privacy of persnal data. use plutonium i leave a bad review as its bizarre this should even be said

Best COD game made, shame that the prices for the older ones are so high.

Online doesnt work if you buy the game nowadays. You cant do co-op campaign with your homie or even do zombies or anything. So 0/10 for multiplayer The STORY now though... It's the best call of duty to ever be made. The OG, The classic, You just cant NOT play this story.

Не знаю почему, но именно эта часть для меня всегда была особенной. Каждый раз, когда перепрохожу, ловлю себя на мысли, что игре уже столько лет, а играть в нее все еще интересно. Кампания проходится на одном дыхании, миссии не успевают надоесть, а атмосфера делает свое дело. Особенно понравился Тихоокеанский фронт — японцы постоянно прячутся, устраивают засады, и расслабиться вообще не дают. Советская кампания тоже топ. Резнов — один из тех персонажей, которых реально запоминаешь, а не забываешь через пять минут после титров. Да, сейчас графика уже не впечатляет, а на ветеране можно возненавидеть гранаты всей душой. Но это вообще не мешает получать удовольствие. Для меня это одна из лучших Call of Duty. Без лишнего пафоса — просто игра, которую спустя годы все еще хочется установить и пройти еще раз.

When someone says Call of Duty, this is THE game I think of. It's gritty, it's brutal, it's fun and it gave us so many great things like the Zombies mode. There's also an endless plethora of custom Zombies maps that are a blast to play. It's worth it if you're really into Zombies, and well worth the entry fee for the stellar campaign. In my top 3 CoD titles for sure.

This game turned me into a huge fan of World War II and Soviet music;I was particularly captivated by the game’s soundtrack and the character Viktor Reznov.Gary Oldman,who voiced the character of Viktor Reznov,turned this character into a legend.He did a fantastic job.The scenes of soldiers losing limbs which we encountered for the first time back then and the World War II experience the game offered were in a word, amazing.Activision should release a remake of this game.

[h2]WORLD AT WAR MOSTRA A BRUTALIDADE DE UMA GUERRA[/h2] Só de começar o jogo pela primeira e escutar a música tema do menu já sabe que vai ser uma obra prima e a Treyarch não estava para brincadeira. Aqui eles retrataram os horrores da segunda guerra com perfeição. As missões são muito bem feitas e diferentes uma das outras. Aqui você joga com os americanos e os russos, obviamente a melhor campanha é as dos russos com o icônico Reznov e suas frases impactantes. Melhor missão do jogo é a Vendetta, praticamente idêntica ao filme Circulo de Fogo de 2001, e a trilha sonora dessa missão é perfeita, encaixa muito bem com o ambiente e todo o contexto da missão. Os gráficos são lindos, tudo é muito brutal e cinza, mostrando que a guerra não é colorida. [b]Único ponto negativo como sempre é o preço, provavelmente o pessoal da Activision está passando fome e precisa cobrar R$80,00 em promoção por um jogo de 2008.[/b]
