Heavy Rain is one of those games that sticks with you long after the credits roll. Every choice feels important, and knowing that a single mistake can change the story makes every moment incredibly tense. The multiple playable characters each bring something unique, and the mystery kept me guessing almost the entire time. The game isn't perfect. Some controls can feel a bit clunky by today's standards, and a few scenes drag on longer than they should. But the emotional storytelling, memorable characters, and the constant feeling that anyone can die more than make up for it. If you enjoy story-driven games where your decisions actually matter, Heavy Rain is absolutely worth playing. It's emotional, suspenseful, and packed with unforgettable moments. Even years later, it still stands out as one of the best narrative experiences in gaming. Rating: 9/10

Heavy Rain is a game that I heard about in the past just a little bit and most of the time it was a sort of mixed set of reviews. Some loved it and some criticized it for its plot or funky in-game controls. However, I absolutely love it! The game can boast about dark atmosphere, solid and memorable soundtrack, story (sometimes it's very edgy and tense), and characters that you sympathize. I think the game brilliantly balances action scenes and exploring moments. The levels aren't very long. Most of the characters are written well. The story keeps you interested and engaged until very end. My only criticism would be game's optimization for this (Steam) version. Oh man, it sucks! From the beginning I had complete screen freezes and stutters. Thanks to folks from the forums I was able to fix it by turning off vsync (you gotta play with your nvdia control panel). Don't forget to turn it off and the game will run smoothly until the very end. (I only had one freeze and game not responding error) 8/10 - very tense and engaging interactive drama, recommend

Отличный криминальный триллер. Сюжет не испортило даже то, что про главный сюжетный поворот вещали во всех подробностях чуть ли не из каждого чайника еще лет семь назад. ДОСТИЖЕНИЯ: 100% тут это адская пытка. Достижения на разные концовки + достижение на целое прохождение с особыми условиями (а игра ОЧЕНЬ неторопливая). Хорошо, что главы на текущем сейвслоте можно переигрывать, что позволит легко собрать достижения на определенного прохождение участка с особыми условиями. Есть и довольно сложное достижение Камикадзе, требующее от игрока любо хорошей реакции либо хорошей памяти для идеального попадания в QTE.
