This game is super nostalgic for me but seeing it through adult eyes. It’s super repetitive but the parts that would take you out of the repetitive game play are SUPER boring it’s just a watered down version of the sims. Also still some glitches after all these years. I’ll still play it from time to time and if you have the nostalgia too it’s worth it but for anyone new who hasn’t played it. Not worth it.
"Youtubers Life"? But youtubers don't actually have lives.
Now then, the game was rather decent for its time about 10 years ago, but unfortunately it can't compete with the "peak action" happening nowadays since it does not display any of the current drama, toxicity, allegations regarding minors and harassments, it does not feature any LGTVHD+ fat acceptance/blue-haired/septum ring mentally challenged people, no AI slop, nothing like that, so basically none of the "good stuff". HOWEVER, 2016 was indeed a much simpler and elegant time and let's just leave it at that because I am NOT going to start listing everything that was wrong within that time period. 😂 Anyway, in just a few hours in-game I was able to gather roughly 1000 times more views and subscribers for my virtual channel compared to my real (and granted, inactive) YouTube channel that's been running for 15 years. Peak realism. And on that note, I was about to finish editing a video when my girlfriend said we should go out and actually do something. I refused and she just left me. Like I said, peak realism. Not to mention the fact that it really hits hard when the game eventually tells you that making videos with friends (HA-HA... what friends?) is much more profitable. 8/10 - You game, you record, you post, you socialize, you party, you take selfies, you eat, you drink, you sleep, BUT YOU NEVER PEE! R.I.P. in-game bladder.
Repetitive gameplay loop which is fine if you're into that, but there's also some bugs that just make life unnecessarily harder. Like okay cool it takes forever to upload a video but at least I can buy a second PC so me and my coworker can do videos at the same time... except the selector to toggle between the two PCs is unreliable so psych looks like you just spend a couple of grand on a second PC just to use it as a paperweight....
One of the best games ever conjured on this earth
Game has a fun concept but the rate at which you get subs caps pretty early and the game quickly becomes a repetitive slog.
