Between battles, upgrade and customize your units. Assign heroes with unique skills, level up troops, and adapt your force composition to overcome every scenario.
Every unit has a crew, and each member matters. Lose a gunner and firepower drops; lose a driver and mobility suffers. Protect your crews if you want to maintain combat effectiveness.

Headequaters Cold War W 1984r. Samouczek (ocena 75/100) Samouczek spełnia swoje zadanie i pozwala szybko opanować podstawowe mechaniki. Grafika (ocena 85/100) To jeden z najmocniejszych elementów gry. Przewidywany czas rozgrywki ? Chcąc zaliczyć wszystkie scenariusze musisz poświęcić około 40-50 godzin. Jedna kampania to około 20 godzin. Właściwie bez samouczka opanujesz go w jakieś 10 minut. Spełnia on swoją rolę również dzięki efektom dźwiękowym, prowadzonej narracji i muzyce. Ta ostatnia jednak nie należy do szczególnie wybitnych. Ot na podstawowym poziomie, lecz bez budowania ogromnego napięcia i pełnego zaangażowania gracza. Mechanika i logika gry (ocena 40/100) System walki jest przejrzysty i stosunkowo łatwy do opanowania. Znaczenie mają rodzaje terenu, kierunki ataku oraz współdziałanie różnych typów jednostek. Cała gra to pewien kompromis pomiędzy taktyką i strategią a grywalnością i ochronną przed intelektualnymi wyzwaniami. Sympatycy miłych, łatwych i relaksujących strategii. (promocji brak). OCENA ŁĄCZNA: 60/100 Specyfikacja autora i użytego PC: Doświadczenie w grach tego typu: 35 lat Specjalizacja gatunkowa recenzenta: ekonomia, zarządzanie, budowanie, wojenne, strategiczne, symulatory. As an old dinosaur in the genre who played PanzerGeneral 3D and all it's offsprings like Fantasy General, Dynasty General, that 40k thing back in the day, ect, so far I'm having a blast. In contrast to the hex based games this offers oddly nice visuals, the game actually looks better live than on screenshots, maybe also because the camera is fully controllable with angle and zoom 360.° As of now the game features two campaigns either playing NATO or USSR. You take your core units with you during campaign and can upgrade and modify them, which includes camouflage and even up to two insignia per vehicle, for this you gain currency (prestige) after each battle (visual alterations are free). Mind you in contrast to the regular Panzer General you can't buy additional units, gut get more units as a reward, but you can alter them however you choose, for instance replace riflemen with a tank. You'll get additional mission related forces that won't join you after the scenario. The game features a nice progression, I'm getting the option to buy mortar infantry as my first artillery now in mission 3 - I went for the Soviets for starts, heavy tanks, less high tech stuff. NATO's got more ATGM tanks and troop transports with vulcan/minigun mounts as of now. Your troops can also level up - up to three times and you can choose between two skills per level, like passive +accuracy or actual skills like dash for infantry. You can also get heroes as a reward by fulfilling secondary objectives which you can put on units, giving significant and unique buffs. Additionally you have a skill tree as a commander which allows you to allocate skillpoints after each mission, like increased camouflage for tanks or scouts not causing reaction fire ect. The action itself is so far satisfying. The tutorial covers everything up and the game is not overly complicated. You'll learn everything you need pretty quick. Units can attack two times and have up to three reaction/overwatch shots - line of sight and recon play a big role. Additionally you get commander abilities with a cooldown of a few rounds which depend on the scenario, like airstrikes, smoke shells, or artillery strikes. Careful advances and timely retreats of damaged units - one of your command abilities can heal one unit every four turns - are key to victory. And of course, the right unit composition. Going all out tanks would be super problematic in dense woodland or urban areas where infantry simply does AT-reaction shots against armour, so a good mix is paramount. Regarding cover for infantry, buildings are destructible and the level of detail in building degradation, like when using artillery on entrenched infantry, is really nice. I'd write more but I wanna continue playing. :D So yeah, it's fun and recommendable. Lots of different units, too.
great relaxing war game and the Ai is aggressive too!
Strategic Mind.

My only complaint is when you have to find only one enemy unit to end a scenario. If you don't you lose. Make it simpler to find the unit. Perhaps a global search or the unit attacks instead of hiding in some remote corner.
The game is mediocre at best, but hunting down X units on a map as primary objective is just too much. Find the hidden scout somewhere on the map... mega boring
