Latest in the Haunted Legend series (at least on Steam), this title makes you an investigator for the Church, sent to investigate a mysterious series of deaths in a small town. Girls are turning up with glowing scars on their arms, either dead or near death. A travelling magician might be behind these incidents. Still, you need to investigate and find the truth. HO scenes are fun, minigames challenging, and the plot engaging. Fully recommend, though getting in the bundle would be ideal.
This is a good game. I always enjoy Haunted Legends.

I got this, along with Lost TIme, during the Winter Sale and while I really enjoyed Lost Time, I can't say I enjoyed this one nearly as much. Art is good and the scenes don't feel as cluttered at some game devs make them, music was fine and voice acting was alright. The plot itself is a good idea, but I felt it was very rushed. You arrive to solve a mystery, but after literally three scenes (and maybe 10 minutes into the game) you already know who your foe is and what they look like, as well as most of the plot. Puzzles were mostly fun and, dare I say, a little too easy compared to Lost Time and the average HOG. However, there were a few issues. A couple of puzzles genuinely had me checking the guide after very vague/little direction from the puzzle hint. And the dungeon had me quite frustrated as I hadn't realized the lantern was a key part of the puzzle. Biggest problem, though, was the hit boxes for some of the puzzles were atrocious. Multiple times, when I needed to put a piece of paper on the puzzle (mostly doors/combination code things) I had to move the paper all over the puzzle area before finally figuring out where it went. Near the end of the bonus chapter, I literally had to look up the guide to figure it out AND THE GUIDE INDICATED THE WRONG PLACE TO PUT THE PAPER. Incredibly frustrating when I'm thinking, "Game, I'm literally supposed to put this here, why can't I?" Sadly, I'm gonna suggest a pass on this one due to the overall frustration.
