very good game with great story and mechanics

This may be the most fun I’ve ever had whilst playing a game. The gameplay never left me without a way out, no matter how low my health was. The save feature being accessible at any point allowed me to scout ahead without the risk of losing major progress, while the arsenal of weapons you hold up your rectum at all times allowed me to set both manned and unmanned traps for enemies to cross into. That doesn’t even consider the alt functions of some weapons. The humble right click on the shotgun has saved me more times than I can count. And then the zen levels. They were a little difficult to traverse at first, but I had easily gotten the hang of it before too long. Overall, 10/10. Play it if you haven’t.

valve built this in 1998, with a box of scraps!! i cannot fathom how they managed to make a game that stands up so well after almost 30 years. i was amazed by the visuals, the mechanics, the storytelling, the level design and basically everything else literally every time i started a new chapter. i generally do not like old games but man, this game is just different. a must-play for everyone and anyone. oh and also, if valve didn't make this game the games you love today probably wouldn't even exist
