This is basically the Sega Dreamcast version of Half-Life. All of the textures have that shimmery and metallic look to them (not complaining; I love them). The movement is probably the biggest difference since it feels like Gordon is on rocket powered ice skates in this version of the game. It can be pretty jarring and uncomfortable when starting, but it can be fun when you get the hang of it. The Gargantua enemy is a little bit shy in this version and at that same time the Alien Controllers are way more aggressive when you leave for Xen. It was also broken when I tried starting it for the first time. It just wouldn't launch at all when I started it up at first. I think I uninstalled and reinstalled and then verified the files and I managed to get to the title screen, but the title screen was just blurry and had the loading box down in the bottom right. I had to switch Half-Life 2's update version to the pre-anniversary one and then I switched Half-Life Source's compatibility version to Proton Experimental and my game started working. Hopefully that doesn't break my Half-Life 2 workshop addons, but I'm assuming it might've. If you like ice-skating or the Dreamcast, I'd give this one a try.
