Playing as Alyx Vance, you are humanity’s only chance for survival. The Combine’s control of the planet since the Black Mesa incident has only strengthened as they corral the remaining population in cities. Among them are some of Earth’s greatest scientists: you and your father, Dr. Eli Vance.
As founders of a fledgling resistance, you’ve continued your clandestine scientific activity—performing critical research, and building invaluable tools for the few humans brave enough to defy the Combine.
Every day, you learn more about your enemy, and every day you work toward finding a weakness.

Valve’s return to the Half-Life universe that started it all was built from the ground up for virtual reality. VR was built to enable the gameplay that sits at the heart of Half-Life.
Immerse yourself in deep environmental interactions, puzzle solving, world exploration, and visceral combat.
Lean to aim around a broken wall and under a Barnacle to make an impossible shot. Rummage through shelves to find a healing syringe and some shotgun shells. Manipulate tools to hack alien interfaces. Toss a bottle through a window to distract an enemy. Rip a Headcrab off your face and throw it out the window.
COMMUNITY-BUILT ENVIRONMENTS
A set of Source 2 tools for building new levels is included with the game, enabling any player to build and contribute new environments for the community to enjoy through Half-Life: Alyx's Steam Workshop. Hammer, Valve’s level authoring tool, has been updated with all of the game's virtual reality gameplay tools and components.

this game is just so good im suprised it runs on my pc, its fun and cool for running on valves own software, if you got the money then get this game

hände einstellung 0,00, vllt kann man tasten einzeln zuweisen aber bro ich kenne die scheisse noch nicht so gut und diga ich kaufe brille für halbes k dann solle da auch alles vernunftig laufen finde ich, ich will einfach zocken und muss mich mit irgendeine schss auseinander setzen, gameplay wegen kontroller extrem müll, erste mission in ein rätsel gekommen obwohl schlacht erwartet und spiele noch als ne alte alter, grade am überlegen zurückzugeben, ist zwar name und kult game aber soo einen müll hab ich nieee im leben erwartet

I love this game. This game is my first proper introduction to the Half-Life series. As while I do have all the games, I haven't properly played them nor have I seen them to the end. Half-Life: Alyx was the first Half-Life game I've seen to the end. This game, despite being released over 6 years ago, is still the best VR game you can play. Despite having some issues at the beginning(the native Linux version of the game will only run properly and won't crash on you after a few tweaks), I still had a phenomenal experience and I will absolutely play this game again. Can't wait for when Half-Life: 3 releases in like 16 years. :)

Абсолютно неймовірний досвід та справжній кайф у світі VR. Гра чудово розкривається як самостійне шедевральний твір, так і як глибоке доповнення до легендарного всесвіту.
Геймплей захоплює з перших хвилин, а рівень імерсивності та опрацювання деталей просто приголомшує — ти не просто граєш, ти буквально фізично відчуваєш себе всередині цього світу. Єдиний мінус — історія пролітає на одному подиху, і з гри взагалі не хочеться виходити, хочеться ще більше цього фантастичного всесвіту!
Окрема щира подяка розробникам за офіційну українську локалізацію — чути й бачити рідну мову в проєкті такого рівня надзвичайно приємно та цінно!
