Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's SAO but actually good

Its a fun dungeon crawler from the ps2 days, but the gameplay is mostly a vehicle to keep the story moving but it works well enough, if a bit menu heavy. Play if you like story games with a good chunk of background lore stuff amounting to a playable anime. Skip if you just wanna play a flushed out game. Watch .hack/roots to get the context of whats going on and who people are though, its fairly easy to figure out with context but can be annoying.
Absolute dog water, the story feels like a cheap copy of SAO The fighting is just mashing attack, with the occassional ability thrown in. I loved .hack, i played the hell out of .hack//mutation and loved it. They ruined the feel of a "game world" and made it feel like one of those gacha where you can just auto play and watch your character fight flawlessly. The game maps known as "areas" are boring, rinse and repeat of fight/avoid monsters or npcs, open chest for key, get item at end or fight "stronger" (i say that VERY loosely) enemies at the end. I loved that they tried to flesh out the world with forums/blog posts, the mechanic for unlocking zones by reading the forums seemed very cool, but its just copies of every other zone in the game. without spoiling for those who would enjoy this mindless slop, your "special form" fights feel cheap, clunky and a waste of my time. I can literally play this game without looking at it for more than a few seconds at a time. Every hour ive played ive been able to kill enemies with ease and follow the bland story while simultaniously watching youtube. I dont even need to watch anything to know whats going on because its so face value and copies so much of SAO. you cannot change classes, characters or even command characters beyond simple commands (act agressive, defensive, prio heal) Later on you can get different weapons, 2 in volume 2, +1 volume 3, and i think one more in 4 leading to a total off 5 different weapons in the whole game. The equipment management is confusing and there seems to be no real explanation inside the game. Your better off buying .hack//mutation for the REAL MMORPG single player feel. Unfortuantely i didnt reallize this until after my 2 hour refund. I gave 15 hours to try it and I doubt i ever will play it again.
I grew up with this game series. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
4 ps2 games in one. very immersive storyline, great character development, idle card battle and collection, simple non-complex rpg system, and more. I recommend this for people who wants a breather from hard games. totally worth the full price. The game feels like watching an anime and the gameplay is so easy I can just sit back and relax. What I also really like about .hack//G.U. is the unique OS system that replicates real world internet. I find reading forums, news, and emails interesting as it adds more depth to the world of .hack. Normally single player games makes me feel a little lonely but this game feels so alive with all the characters and lines they put in. Love it!
was gifted to me by a friend because I like .hack//SIGN and the books, only 4 hours in and I'm really enjoying it! I honestly would've bought it for myself (because sale) had my friend not gifted it to me so quickly after mentioning it. The music, the setting, it's all well done and familiar for an MMO player. I'm super hoping //Z.E.R.O. also gets a steam release, and eventually IMOQ. Definitely making sure my friend who bought it for me hears allll about my first playthrough ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
