.hack//G.U. Last Recode

I enjoyed getting the chance to run back through these older games (especially with the cheat modes to let me avoid most of the original grind to enjoy the story). It was nice to see the additional storyline added on to finish wrapping up all of the remaining plot threads; it finally felt complete afterwards. I still can't tell if I want more grunties or less though...

I finally finished the game and i loved it. From the start until the end i truly loved it, a good story, good characters, a difficult ok and for me a perfect ending. I just loved it so much!

Great retro game, works best with an Xbox controller however it is possible to play on keyboard

(edit 2/17/2026 HOLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ WE WON) ok preface time, yes i only got into this series more recently and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. in all honesty this series needs more love. i wish that eventually the .hack//IMOQ games could eventually get a remake in the same vane as this because it kind of makes me sad that the IMOQ series hasn't gotten the remake treatment yet. they deserve it and could honestly use a ton of updates and QOL improvements like G.U. got. Anyway, this is the best way to experience the G.U. series of games without having to shell out a ungodly amount of money for ps2 copies these games are one of a kind and have never genuinely been recaptured. sword art wishes it could be this good but it totally misses what makes a series like this special and one of a kind. actual love and passion from people all over different industries. people from Evangelion, Ghost in the shell worked on this series and it's still one of the best ps2 action games that the new generation gets to experience. i only have like 1 gripe over all that doesn't really change how i view this collection, i had some minor frame drops in some of the dungeons but other then that i had no issues what so ever. 10/10

Jogabilidade gráfico e bastante nostálgia, um dos melhores RPGs que simula um MMO que joguei no ps2

First three games were good, why they added a fourth I don't know. The fourth game isn't bad....... but it's not all that good either. I would've been willing to get just a remastered version with better graphics and music, but there's a fourth game. At least the first three GU games are still good.
