Good collection if you've never played these games before. I got this with the discount for owning both games previously. iX 1 has 120 fps support now and iX 2 is pretty great with the improved saw damage. In iX 2, you can unlock a skill called D Burst through a DLC boss as soon as you begin the game which will let you air dash frequently like iX 1. The endless boss mode is pretty boring since I kept fighting repeat bosses instead of cycling through them all. Looking forward to iX 3 when that comes out.
Inti is panhandling again, but I feel like being kind to this one because the changes they made to the games (mainly iX 1 playing in 120FPS and the rebalancing to iX 2) are bigger improvements than anything in the Gunvolt Trilogy, and the inclusion of iX 2's DLC - a series of cameo boss fights - is nice for anyone who didn't already have those. It does feel a lot like we're paying for a patch, but if it gets us a more fun iX 2 where we don't have to use the full melee combo on every enemy, and we can get our unlimited air dash much quicker, then maybe that's worth something. (Only if you're getting the discounted legacy bundle price, though. Full price is too much if you already own the originals.) If you haven't played these games before, they're a decent way to get in to Gunvolt. I think iX 1 is one of the most approachable Gunvolt games (alongside Gunvolt 3).
One of these cases where I would like Steam to have a "Mixed" rating for reviews. Also know as "Should have just been a patch" the collection. The changes made are quite negligible and endless battle just feels lazy as ♥♥♥♥. SPEAKING OF CHANGES! Here are the changes to the games that I have noticed: LAiX 1:

120 FPS (good);
Both DLCs are included (Good, but I still have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue how to beat EX-Blade);
They have buffed the gun in Darkness Trigger and I TIHNK it drains health slower (yes, this is the only balance change).
LAiX 2:

120 FPS (good);
All DLCs are included (Good, but it's literally the least they could do, since the DLCs cost more than the original game and lock some upgrades that feel like they should have been a part of the main game);
They buffed the main weapon, which, on one hand is good, but on the other, most bosses become even more of a joke than they were in terms of difficulty (yes, most of them still suffer from the Spark Mandrill syndrome).
And that's it, they didn't translate the audio CDs like they did for the Gunvolt trilogy nor did they do any other balance changes, which I think are quite needed for the games. Even the platinum for this collection is a joke! The only reason I am marking the review as positive is because the games themselves are a fun time. Please make LAiX3 good, Inti.

It's LAiX 1+2 with all the DLCs, not much to say if you've already played them, a really fun time. iX 1 has 120 FPS now, neat.
A good collection of two great games. I already loved iX2 but the changes in this collection make it even better. The damage buff makes for better pacing, and in Hard mode you really have to work to earn it and you can lose it in a single hit, so it's a great reward for good play. Before, I hesitated to recommend iX1 because the port was pretty rough and I didn't love the game itself all that much, but this replay has given me a better appreciation for it and now the port is actually very good, so there's really no reason not to recommend it. I guess if there's one negative it's that Endless Battle is a little too intense and barebones of a mode. A difficulty toggle that used the normal versions of the bosses instead of the EX variants would be appreciated. Or a middle ground between freestyle and survival, where you get a money reward for every boss that you defeat so you can obtain skills as you go, or the opposite, a mode where you start with every skill and lose one every time you defeat a boss. As it stands, it feels like a mode that only the absolutely most expert players can get any enjoyment out of.
Not any real changes besides FPS Ix 1 amazing (~$15) dlc (~$4) Ix 2 still offensive (~$25) decent value overall, you'll probably want more after ix 1 and buy ix 2 anyways
