You can skip the loading screens. What kind of game lets you skip the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loading screens how did they even do that?
I love the Gunvolt series but this collection is mid The price is the best point For GV1+GV2 you get a GV3 with all the DLC and a quadriplegic Copen (more on that later) GV1 and 2 are less optimized than GV3 and Connect IX, GV2 Copen is really laggy in some stages GV2 Copen is really laggy in some stages My PC can run games like Ender Magnolia or Code Vein so a 3DS game should'nt be a problem GV3 I guess you have all DLCs ? Also yeah you can skip the loading in GV1-2 it's cool Connect iX is ♥♥♥♥ LAIX2 physics with medicore level design not made for Copen Enemies will kill you on sight it's stupid Only 5 stages (the 4 first and the final one yeah prepare to restart a lot) The chain that Copen can make in the air is now a 10x and with the Kudos system of GV3 it's by far the most punitive Kudos system (ironic when GV3 system was made to be more relaxed) I still thinks it's better than LAIX2 tl;dr bad collection only good if you have only purchased 1 game out of the 3 (I'm scared for LAIX1+2 because iX1 is my favorite)
The definitive way to play the entire Gunvolt main series and a perfect fit for the Steam Deck. These games are pretty good fast-paced platformers with quite the story for such short games. Easy to run through if you're just in it for the story and platforming experience, REALLY fun to master if you want to aim for a high score. Definitely worth a try. There are still some questionable aspects, like GV1 using that outdated Challenge system you have to manually start first, or GV1 and GV2 still having puny menus designed for a 3DS screen. They're also still using what I assume to be 3DS-resolution pictures for some parts in GV1 and GV2 (off the top of my head, the title screen and Copen/GV selection screen), which is jarring because clearly they used high-resolution logos in the game selection. Other than that, gameplay itself is as snappy as I remember it, replayed through 1 and 2 just started 3. Love this franchise. EDIT after 100% : Get this game! Going for high scores in GV3 across all the playable characters is one of the most addicting things in gaming I've experienced in a while, and the first 2 games are no slouch either. Looking forward to the Copen update in GV3 :)
Inti Creates: All right, put the money in the bag! Put it in!! -Uhh, sir? These are the same exact games you already released on Steam. Inti Creates: Oh, sorry. *slaps "enhanced" in the title* NOW GIVE ME THE MONEY!!
My review will talk from the perspective for those who already own the games outside of this collection and for those who do not: If you own the games already: waste of money, the new content (Copen in GV3) is like 5 stages and 40 minutes long. Complete waste of money If you do not own the games already: this is some of my favourite action platformers BUY IT
copen best boy honestly
gunvolt is one of my favourite franchises of all time. Minus gunvolt 3. But like gunvolt 3 is a really good game still i just..... everyone knows the issue with gunvolt 3 i dont need to state it. please inti follow up on that gunvolt 2.5 tweet so gv3 can be retroactively made way better. edit go: ok nvm i hadnt played gv2 in way too long. replaying it slowly reminded me just how frustrating gunvolt 3 was. Also my god i forgot how peak gv2 is even with the slightly weird translation. also i forgot how fun gv1/2 gameplay was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. copen is a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cuz of screen size but gunvolt is infinitely more satisfying than i remember. Gunvolt 1 and 2 are really good and this pack just makes them even more fun with the 0 cost skills making their way into gv1 including 2 cut ones, and the 2 cut ones being added to gv 2 GV3 is getting extra content exclusive to trilogy enhanced. Which like. Bit weird that its like that but cool. additionally all dlc is included (cept shovel knight if you count him lol) and theres some new ones that are neat for 3. My only real issue with this collection is the fact that it is missing the majority of the audio cd's. Alot of them are great. some are pretty essential to enjoying certain characters (nova lol). Thankfully you can find fan translations really easily but its a real bummer that most of them werent included. apparently this collection had some issues on release. they have seemingly been patched. Hopefully GX is good. It being announced was why i decided to replay these. Part of me doesnt like that we're getting stuff with IX before an actual sequel to gunvolt 2, but yknow. Its definitly less work and like hey i'm not gonna complain about gv3's gameplay being reused because gv3 gameplay is still a fun game. idk at this point im just yapping. This ♥♥♥♥ is worth the price. second edit: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i didnt make the j-pop album joke yeah this ♥♥♥♥ is a banger jpop album with multiple games attatched. unfortunately i think we still dont have a full version of indigo destiny (duet) which is tragic that it will forever be stuck in gv2's trailer. third edit: i didnt mention the best part of these games cuz ive kinda just been kinda just autopiloting it, but like yeah this is the one series where score runs are actually fun and incentivised. like seriously. score runs go so hard in these games due to the kudos system just being so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ satisfying. ok actually gonna shut the ♥♥♥♥ up now. NVM ONE LAST NOTE apparently the gv2 final boss used to be bugged on linux (so steamdeck) and as a steamdeck player i can confirm this is no longer the case. very nice as a player who first played gv2 on switch striker pack and missed out on said formerly bugged thing. nvm i started playing gv3 and got annoyed again: man they really made the kudos system super boring and just... lame in 3 huh. i remembered it being pretty fun cuz of the arc chain but going into it directly after 1 and 2, it feels like anything interesting/fun about it is just kinda gone. it no longer feels rewarding because theres no risk or tension attatched. getting the cyber divas online in the previous games felt like it took effort, and as such felt rewarding. No risk, no tension, no rewardm, no satisfaction. I havnt played on gutless but i assume this is how it feels to play on gutless. Also gunvolt being neutered is just lame. You basically arent allowed to use him for kudos gain at least on your first runthrough which makes it so that using gv just becomes a 'i want to ♥♥♥♥ around and potemkin buster the boss and then potemkin buster the boss a second time cuz its really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ funny' kinda deal. I have faith in GX to make gunvolt not stupid, but from what i know it still uses the kudos lock system which is kinda tragic.
玩法演出沉浸感都属于同类第一梯队了,但是真结局居然不是好结局真是前所未见,打完剧情真跟吃了史一样难受
very great , story makes you very confused but it is a great collection. especialy gunvolt 2. gunvolt 3 has a great gameplay and it's so much fun. sometimes prevasion kills the fun in this game and makes dodging not much important ,unless you try to get S rank or higher in stages. reaching 1000 kudos makes a song play in the background and it is so satisfying. hard content after finishing main story is very fun. gunvolt 1 8/10 gunvolt 2 9.5/10 gunvolt 3 9/10
