A charmingly quirky RPG where you catch and fuse spirits you fight, and layer by layer reveal deep, intricate lore. This single-player, turn-based RPG has a deceptively simple exterior, but within lie complexity and depth. It's light and it's dark, it's witty and it's silly, and it's one of a kind.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A lockdown during a crisis. You can't go anywhere. At least not until a portal to a magical land opens in your bedroom.
Weirdlands is an RPG inspired by classics like Final Fantasy, Earthbound, Undertale, etc., but it's also very much its own thing.
You can recruit or capture pretty much any enemy you fight. The stronger, unique spirits have their own personalities and storylines. They can absorb other spirits you capture, gaining their abilities. With combining spirits like that, you can find combinations that work best for you, and even some hidden combos.
There is a proper point & click inventory with proper point & click items for solving proper point & click puzzles, but since it is an RPG, you can solve most puzzles in different ways, often with brute force, just make sure your brawn stat is high enough.
After you finish the game (or by turning it on in the options), you can start a new game+, which dramatically changes both story and game mechanics, giving you a very different experience.
There is a huge amount of lore to uncover, both through the story itself and by exploring and finding hidden hints about what is going on in the world(s).

Man i really wish more people would know about this game. It can be a bit grindy, but that's totally okay (a specialy when last patch added difficulty to make game less grindy for those who don't want too much for it) I don't want spoiler too much about game, but everything promised in description are here. The only thing i can complain is lack of music, but eh. Not every indie game got banger soundtrack. But gameplay definitly highlight both in combat mechanic and world exploration with puzzles that involve being dummy that use whole inventory on random bush and discover something actually worked. Actually... i will spoiler one thing. Bosses in this game can join your party. Best part: They won't be nerfed and come in full power you encounter them and can be empowered even further. Have fun with that.
I've been following this game's development for a while now, and I'm so excited that it has hit 1.0! The artstyle is charming and Weirdlands is bringing Nintendo DS obscure RPG vibes

Im a bit surprised that this game is so unknown, its actually really good! Pros - Interesting world and very good story, told in an interesting way with New Game+ - Characters and dialogues are endearing and immersive - Nice little puzzles - Lots of stuff and secrets you can discover while exploring - There is an easy mode, it even has puzzle-hints (i didnt need it, but nice to have) Cons - Combat is a bit bland - Dying is common, but at least there are generous auto-safes - A few unnecessary long travelling paths/corridors - There are 3 or 4 soundtracks... half of the game is silent - Fishing totally sucks (at least its fully optional) Honorable mentions: - Overworld music - Bart and Moshie! - Information from books and notes were actually relevant and tied to the story - You can turn into a sentient cucumber Overall a solid experience, which im glad i... well, experienced!
Cute game, reminiscent of the Demikids games that were localized (see: SMT series). Sprites are cute, the dialogue is well done & the characters express emotion throughout dialogue through small changes in their facial expression, their posture, etc. Lots of love went into this game, from it's creation to design to flow. Certainly something I'll be playing more of very soon.
This is a wonderfully fun little indie creature collector. The aesthetics are such a vibe, the music is great, the battles are fun, and the exploration really hits the spot. There is no handholding in this game, which I love. Running around trying to figure out where to go next and what I need to solve whatever problems I'm facing is great. The creature design is also top tier. I can't recommend this game enough.
🇬🇧 Weirdlands is a remarkable RPG, as it once was, heavily influenced by Earthbound and Pokémon Red Blue. You are transported into a cartoon landscape, with a multitude of endearing and funny characters, without forgetting the number of secrets hidden here and there. It has the makings of being a superb game both in terms of lifespan and narrative side, and the fact of being able to modify your team which can give certain additional skills, which gives even more freedom to the player. The game is in English even though I don't speak it, but the video game barrier is much more than just a language, but yes if you understand English you will understand and appreciate the game much more. It has not yet been officially released. The developer is still finalizing some details. Therefore, if you enjoy RPGs, don't waste time !
It's charming and a delight. Artwork is beautiful, story is nice, combat ranges from an enjoyable puzzle about optimizing character moves to a satisfying power trip. Definitely pick this one up.
This is genuinely one of the best games I've played all year. If you have any interest in creature collectors or even RPGs in general, pick it up ASAP. Go in as blind as you can, discovery is a huge strength of this game. Also, pay attention to what is said or written in this game as things are rarely said lightly.
I found that this was a pretty solid indie rpg with a fun story told over two sequential playthroughs. I feel that the strongest aspects of the game were its storytelling and the puzzley way in which you interact with everything to discover secrets and impact the world. On the more critical note, I think the core systems design of the game are somewhat shallow and can at times be quite monotonous (combat), or outright not fun (fishing). By the end of the second play, I managed to discover all secrets and defeat all combat challenges, but the fishing log was just not something I felt was worth completing. Barring some of the more involved optional encounters or secrets that are clearly not intended for (or explicitly disallowed on) the first play, the game is actually quite compact and a comfortable length of around 10 or so hours per playthrough. Even doing all that extra stuff, it only took me 30 hours to 100% the game across both runs. I've seen that an update was released to give more detailed clues on the various puzzles and secrets, but I didn't personally see much that wasn't clearly laid out for the player on the default difficulty. There were a few instances of situations that I expected something more to, but never found myself stuck or at a loss for how to solve a puzzle or find a secret. In fact, the only secret that I missed on my first time through was just due to my own lack of attentiveness on a particular list of names. All in all, a relatively fun experience and one that I felt was worth the money spent. I really enjoyed the realizations at the climax of each run of the game, and how the dialogue was mostly rewritten for the second run, providing a very novel experience.
Full-on strategy battles and great puzzles. The art direction is amazing, the leveling up system being closely tied to the "money" really adds a new layer of challenge you don't see in many RPGs and the story really pulls you in. Haven't finished it, but I've been waiting for its release since the Demo days, where there was a "Superboss" at the bottom of the library. Excellent game for RPGs complitionists. 10/10, would recommend.
