So this is all taken from someone who was playing Grounded solo side by side with Grounded 2 co-op, so that is just kind of a disclaimer in a way of the state I am in while playing it and that I don’t have a ton of attachment to Grounded 1 in the same way because I didn’t play it when it first came out. With that being said I think right away the game does feel a bit more clunky than 2 in both the control schemes are the progression of the game. Overall grounded is definitely a solid survival game overall, but parts of it show their age in comparison to Grounded 2 just because of what the developers have learned from both games. The big thing is that I felt like overall traversal was a lot slower in this game as you don’t have the buggies from 2 to help you out in that regard. The environment is smaller as a backyard instead of a park, but it still feels a tiny bit too big in some areas or that specific biomes are too small in regards to everything else. One aspect is how when you get the upgrade chips, you have to return to a specific lab instead of just any lab or field station you might find out in the world. Boss fights overall weren’t my favorite as a solo player either, as their health bars just felt a tiny bit too high for a solo player. Biomes were creative and you can tell they had a lot of fun in creating the environment of the backyard, but also I can’t help but feel like the order is a tiny bit strange if you go in the way that they are largely presented to you. And some biomes or tricks are exceptionally difficult to find your ways into, almost like finding a needle in a haystack. Overall I would say it’s a solid game, but I would either play this first (not super needed) before 2, or just go straight to 2. I feel like 2 is maybe an update or two from me writing this to having as much content as this game, if not already right at that mark already.
I think Grounded 2 updates should be on the Grounded 2 page and not on the Grounded 1 page. I do not own Grounded 2. Why am I seeing an update for a game that I do not own in my library? No idea. But I assure the developers I will not buy Grounded 2. As usual, just like everything else in the world, what I classify as trash, I throw in the garbage.
ist gut weil hat viel Eiweiß und wenig fett, also weil es weiße Sachen gibt und da sind jetzt nicht so viele fette mobs

fun but spiders so arachnaphobia setting is goated/funny
I really enjoy grounded. Its been really difficult and fun and aside from some desync issues from playing with a friend across the world, it runs well enough.
game good. buy game. play game. beat game. play again.
