Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30.29/day in the week to Aug 22 → 59.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So I am about almost four years late to this game. I did avoid it on purpose though. The cat I grew up with since I was born, did pass away about a few months before I saw the trailer for this game, and my cat was also an orange beautiful cat. I spent a lot of time really wanting to play this game, but thinking of a cat that looks so much like my old one the whole time I knew would be rough. But here I am. Almost four years after release, and over four years after my cat had passed. And wow. I am so pleased with the gameplay, story, graphics, and just everything. I have not been this immersed into a story for some time. The developers did so amazing. The robot apocalyptic aesthetic has truly opened my eyes to stuff to do in Minecraft as a builder haha. I genuinely love this aesthetic so much. I really hope these developers will be able to push out some more games/content, as it's clear storytelling is something they know how to do well. Overall, I will say this game is incredible, and I cannot wait to start grinding the achievements to 100% the game, and get all the badges to use on my Steam profile, once I get restriction off for having a new account... Thank you so much for this eye opening game. Again, can't wait to see more. Love this game, and still love my Ellie, and miss you lots <3

My god . what a beautiful game. No wonder this sits at 97% positive. Let's ignore the fact that you play as a stray cat and talk about everything else: You're thrown into a beautiful dystopian world which has lots of details. You can tell the developers gave it their all. The atmosphere is sooooo fitting together with the soundtrack. The story is captivating , there's no narrator , no nothing. You discover everything yourself as you progress and traverse through this beautiful city. The puzzles are not too challenging but not too easy either. Almost everything here is polished to perfection. The ending is a bit lackluster but the entire game makes up for it. With being played through in roughly 7 hours it's a bit short but worth every minute . The gameplay 10/10 The story 10/10 The atmosphere 10/10 The soundtrack 10/10 One of the best experiences I've ever had in a video game.
Stray completely stole my heart. What I loved most about this game is that there are no humans. It's just robots, cats, and this beautiful world full of mystery. I don't know why, but that made the game feel so special to me. The robots have so much personality, and I became attached to many of them during my journey. The world is absolutely beautiful. The neon lights, the colors, the rainy streets, and all the small details made me stop so many times just to look around. Every area feels unique and full of life. The story is simple but emotional. I loved discovering the world little by little instead of having everything explained to me. It made me feel curious and excited to keep exploring. The soundtrack is also amazing and fits the atmosphere perfectly. It made some moments feel peaceful and others feel emotional. The puzzles are fun and not too difficult. They were just enough to keep me engaged without becoming frustrating. And of course, playing as a cat is sooo cutee <3 Meowing for no reason, taking little naps, scratching things, and knocking objects off shelves made me smile every time. I never thought I could get so attached to a little orange cat. I've finished Stray several times already, and I still love it every time I play. That's very rare for me. There is just something magical about this game that keeps bringing me back. I genuinely can't think of a single thing I didn't enjoy. Beautiful, cozy, emotional, and unforgettable. I fell in love with this dystopian world, its robots, and its little orange cat. One of my favorite games ever. ❤️🐾✨
Stray is probably one of the most unexpectedly endearing games I’ve played. The whole idea of playing as a cat sounded fun and it actually worked. Just running around, squeezing through tiny gaps, knocking things off shelves and generally being a cat is satisfying lol. The world is probably my favourite part. The underground city has this really nice mix of neon lights, gloomy streets and abandoned buildings that makes exploring it genuinely fun. It’s not a massive open world or anything, which I actually appreciated. You’re mostly following a pretty clear path, but there’s enough to look around and find that it never feels completely linear either. The atmosphere is easily one of the strongest parts of the game. The glowing streets, quiet abandoned areas and soundtrack all blend together really well, and playing as a cat makes the whole experience feel different from your usual adventure game. The story surprised me too. I wasn’t expecting to get invested in the characters as much as I did. The little drone companion and the friends we make along the way, only to lose some of them at different points, actually gave the journey more emotional weight than I expected. Then there’s the whole mystery behind the city, which keeps you interested in finding out what happened and does a good job of making you care without constantly throwing exposition at you. Gameplay is pretty simple though. There’s some light platforming, exploration, stealth and a few puzzles, but none of it is particularly challenging. Most of the time you’re just moving forward and taking in the world. For this kind of game, that more relaxed approach fits pretty well. There are also plenty of small details that make the world worth paying attention to, even when they don’t really serve any purpose beyond making the place feel alive. It’s pretty much perfect for what it was developed to be and I think everything comes together really nicely. I do wish there was a little more to do in some sections though, since a few parts can feel a bit too straightforward. In short, it’s a really enjoyable game and probably the best cat simulator you could ask for, considering I absolutely spent way too much time meowing at random things XD!
Stray Review
As a fellow cat game enjoyer, I expected Stray to be a cute and wholesome adventure. Instead, I was met with fear, anxiety, and the warmth of friendship. I was not prepared for the moments where the cat can die, or for the heartbreaking sounds it makes. My anxiety was through the roof every time I had to avoid those situations. The NPCs, environments, hidden areas, and all the little interactions you can have as a cat are beautifully handcrafted. Every corner of the world feels thoughtfully designed, making exploration genuinely rewarding. This is clearly a game made with love, and that passion shines through in every detail. While Stray can be incredibly cute and wholesome, it also tells a surprisingly deep and emotional story with themes that linger long after the credits roll. It's a game that earns your respect through both its world and the message it conveys. One small disappointment: my DualSense controller didn't play the meow through its built-in speaker when I pressed the meow button. I was really looking forward to using it to spook my real cat. 😼

Performance Overview - The game does have some shader stuttering on PC. Here's what helped me: Reduce shader stuttering: [olist] [*]Go to → %LOCALAPPDATA%\Hk_project\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\ [*]Open Engine.ini via notepad. [*]Add → [/Script/Engine.RendererSettings] r.CreateShadersOnLoad=1 [*]Save the file and launch the game. [/olist] Also set your Windows Power Mode to Best Performance, this helped massively for my 1% lows. After these fixes, my PC playthrough was buttery smooth at max settings, 1440p, capped at 90 FPS using RTSS Async. My second playthrough was on my Steam Deck OLED, where it ran without stutters and delivered a solid 40 FPS on Medium settings with High textures. Great game, much love <3
I finished Stray long ago before yet here i am again but this time with all achievements unlocked and now i shall write a review lol...I've actually decided I want to start writing my game reviews a lil differently from now on. Instead of just talking about whether a game was good or bad, I want these reviews to be something i can come back to years from now on and instantly remember how I felt while playing the game. Yknow... what made me smile, what caught me off guard, what made me stop and think and what kind of emotional connection i ended up having with the game and all the random little moments in between that I would've forgotten otherwise. I guess that's because the games that stay with me the longest are rarely the ones with the biggest boss fights or the craziest mechanics. It's the ones with incredible stories, beautiful worlds, beautiful yummy graphics, memorable characters and moments that somehow find a way to linger in my mind long after the credits roll. Anyway, when Stray was released the hype was extremely valid, well because....cat. As a furmom, who wouldn't wanna play as their cat right? If you tell me I get to play as an orange cat whose biggest responsibilities are meowing every five seconds and knocking random things off the shelves, you've already got my attention. I absolutely abused that meow button, I wasn't even aware there was an achievement tied to it until it randomly popped up! And ofcourse, i took every opportunity to be a menace, gotta stray true to being an ORANGE cat. The story and graphics completely stole my heart. At the same time, they absolutely gut-wrenched me... in the best way possible. This is probably one of the games that made me feel...lonely? Not scary lonely, just that quiet feeling. The kind of quiet every dystopian/post-apocalyptic movies or games give you, where life clearly used to exist everywhere, and now you're just wandering through whatever's left of it, clinging onto tiny glimmers of hope wherever you can find them. Hmm, I think i spent way more time exploring than i probably needed to because every area made me wonder "What?! How?!" , and ohmygosh the minute DETAILS!!! There weren't giant cutscenes explaining everything either, and i actually liked that. The game trusted us enough to look around and piece things together for ourselves. Maybe that's also why I've always loved post-apocalyptic stories so much. As strange as it sounds, I find them weirdly comforting. They're usually quiet, slow, and full of little reminders that even after everything falls apart, there's still something worth searching for. Hope isn't loud in these kinds of stories, it hides in the smallest places. And I think Stray captured that feeling perfectly. Sometimes less is really more.
