Ended up loving the game which was not something I expected. The art style and non cliche story elements is what I loved the most. [spoiler]Felt sad in the end when the lighthouse got destroyed but I suppose I can live with that since I got to play a cool game.[/spoiler]

Nice visuals and music. Story is whatever. There's lots to do, but since the map does not indicate where actions are available, you will spend a lot of time wandering around trying to figure out where to do the next thing. I eventually ended up writing down all locations on a piece of paper along with their pending things to do so I could do a quick lookup of where I should probably go whenever I picked up a new item. There are always a lot of pending problems to be solved because you'll run across them long before you find the item you need to complete them. Puzzles tend to be on the easier side and are interesting variations on the usual kinds. The hidden object puzzles vary among lists of named objects, lists of pictured objects, and find objects to use to find other objects. On the whole, a decent problem-solving puzzling experience. Expect around 6 hours of gameplay. Recommend you buy it on sale. Works fine on Linux with Proton.

I really enjoyed this game quite a bit. There are probably more collectables than I've seen in any other HOG game so you're always looking for things. The HOG scenes are varied from traditional "find this" from images or words to "use what you find" type of scenes. Puzzles vary from easy to medium, never found anything overly difficult. Long chaptered story that continues on & on yet never feels boring, I was thoroughly entertained the whole time.

Very good hidden object game! Good game if you want to discover what HOG are. Story is standard but ok. Technically very good: graphics, music, sounds, voices 8/10

Nice and challenging, with about 3 hours of game-play on Casual mode. Lots of puzzles and hidden object mini-games, plus the story was pretty decent.

Fairly short. Minor bugs where overlay text would disappear, but fixed w a quick restart. Decent graphics and voice acting
