Paranormal Night Shift

I hate this game. Let me be clear on that. I hate it, but I can't stop playing it. Why? No clue. Maybe I hate myself more? Some changes you have to spot are as subtle as changing the color of toothbrushes in a cup, or setting a small unopened deck of cards on a table that wasn't there before. All the frustrating tedium of 'Where's Waldo' but Waldo is a bread box moved a quarter of an inch from it's original position, seriously, FML! Can't stop playing it though. The game runs great. No stutters, good sound design, easy mechanics, and every time something changes I find myself looking deeper into my monitor, glaring, determined to beat the squiggly dance ghost at her own BS before she jumps out and noodle wiggles at my screen and I have to start all over again. It's frustrating, asinine, tedious, I am not a patient person.... I CAN'T STOP PLAYING IT! Send help! For real! This isn't a review, this is a cry for help! I need to be stopped before I loose my $%&# mind! Okay, okay, it probably doesn't help that this is my first observation style game, so I'm not very good at it. I'll get there, eventually. The sound quality, as I said, is very good, and it helped a lot when I started listening for audio cues as well as trying to burn the images of the environment into my psyche. Only real, honest complaint is that I would like to shut my partner/friend up, and the screen SUPER STATIC when I get things correct. It makes me blink, and it wrecks my focus, but those two sings aside I have no real complaints. Just nerd raging at my inability to be as good at this as I am at Diablo is all. To those of you that excel at this genre, hats off, for real. Haven't been in a love hate relationship like this since high school. Absolutely recommending it.

監視カメラの映像を見ながら 異変があったら報告するホラゲ。 オープニングでホラゲとは思えない イケイケなBGMが流れててすっかり油断しました。 自分はめちゃくちゃビビリのホラゲ初心者なので 音をかなり小さめでプレイしてみたのですが それでも音にだいぶ驚かされ 怖い顔がいきなりドーン！でぶるぶる震えましたｗ ホラゲ苦手な人はひっくり返ると思いますが ホラゲ好きな人にはおすすめできます。 日本語対応ありがたし！

[h3]物語性のある監視業務[/h3] 全実績解除レビュー [hr][/hr] 『[b]I'm on Observation Duty[/b]』のクローン作品かと思いきや フルボイスのストーリー(日本語字幕対応！)に、終盤にはボス戦のような緊迫感があり値段以上の良作でした。 異変やシステムは易しめな難易度ですし三日間の業務と短めなのでサクッと遊べます。 ジャンプスケアが多めですが陽気な相棒がめっちゃ話しかけてくるのでホラーが苦手な私でも楽しめました。 結論コスパ良いからおすすめ！ これは蛇足ですが映画ポスターとか有名人の写真とか権利的に大丈夫なんかなって思うところはありました。

I have a terrible memory. I'm also a scaredy cat. This game tested both of those the 4 hours I played this game. Honestly, I would've played this a lot longer than that if it wasn't for my wonderful chat with the assists! LOL The changes were so subtle sometimes that I died not seeing a single change. It definitely comes down to luck at what anomaly happens. 10/10 would recommend if you want to torture yourself with a scary memory game!

Отличный симулятор поиска аномалий. Один из лучших представителей жанра. Немного есть кривые анимации и png вставки, но на фоне общей атмосферы - это можно и списать.

TL;DR: If you've played any of the IOOD games on hard mode and enjoy it, I personally think you'll enjoy playing this game. It's not overly hard, you get up to 4 anomalies before you risk failure. There is a story to the game. Not ALL anomalies are teeny tiny differences. I'll start by saying that if you like the I'm On Observation Duty games, especially if you've played them on Hard Mode, you'll probably enjoy this one. I saw a few posts say that if you fail and die, you restart - I'd like to expand on that: if you're on night 2 and you fail, you restart night 2, you do not restart at night 1. The mechanic of restarting the night is different from at least the newer (6, 7 + 8) IOOD games because those do not have "night 1" or "night 2" it's just one round on the chosen map. Paranormal Night Shift has a different mechanic since there's multiple nights, varying in difficulty; which I honestly prefer, especially since it comes with a bit of a story. I've seen some posts about it being pretty fast to fail you - I think that if you've got a good balance of looking and flipping, you'll get most anomalies. Even though I've failed the 2nd night a few times before I got the hang of it and built a routine, it makes it replayable - I would be bored if it was too easy, so I feel the balance of "obvious" to "teeny tiny" anomalies is fair. The clock bong is a teeny bit loud, even with my own pc volume down and the in-game audio down - just a thought, doesn't overly impact the gameplay. I’d love to see more, either updates to this game or similar projects. Expanding the story, adding maps, or exploring the company we work for and other families would be great. Overall, I enjoyed it and think it’s worth it if this genre is your jam.

Now I am terrible at these Observation or Spot the Difference type of games, but I had a good time playing this, the paranormal narrative made a horror enjoyer in me happy. Although the loud noise ghost at your face gets tiring. That said, I never got past night 2, but will keep trying :)
