A Pizza Delivery

I would give this game a "mixed" review, but since steam only have yes/no im leaning more towards so. I'm sure the story is going to play out great and heartfelt, but the act of actually playing to get to that point is more of an annoyance. The mouse doesn't stay on the screen. There are no settings other than graphics and mouse sens that you can change. I pan too far right and mouse is out of screen, and I'll be clicking something else. Pressing A/D which is supposed to be for moving the character also moves the camera left/right slightly. Mouse movement is either too fast or too slow, not sure if mouse acceleration is a thing. Driving is like driving on ice.

great game but it's not fully baked. i really tried to tolerate the issues, but after a frustrating puzzle i went to the next chapter and saved and exited. when i came back it loaded the frustrating chapter for me to do over. that was the last straw bug. i'll come back and finish it someday.

Got this game for free for a stream, and I had to stop about an hour in. This game definitely needs some work. The mouse control issue is something I'm surprised more people haven't brought up; this is a no controller game yet the mouse doesn't stay focused on the game. Meaning when you use your mouse to control the camera, it'll move around your entire computer, causing you to press other things. When you're in the menu trying to mess with settings, it'll still move the camera around too. It's really jarring. It's still playable considering you don't need to click anything, but I don't understand how the game was even finished with that in it. The graphics settings are also extremely lacking. I've never seen a game just have a simple slider for their graphics settings. Instead of being able to change everything individually, you are basically stuck to sliding to either Low, Medium, or High. I really needed to change my settings, as I'm a VTuber so it was effecting how my model was working on stream. But once I changed it to medium, the whole game started playing worse, not just looking worse. It was jittery, it had screen tearing, etc. Something which could've been a non-issue had I been able to change different settings around. I'm not really a puzzle person so me trying to figure out the puzzles and being bad at it is completely on me. I won't say whether they were good or bad, because I could just be bad at playing the game. That being said, I do feel like all the slow walking just to go into one building to retrieve one item and then walking a whole 5 minute walk to see another single item is a bit much. I had to stop playing the game by literally only the 3rd area, because we came to a key being put into a slot. The key was put in, and I was prompted to turn it. Then when I tried, it booted me out of the turning screen. I kept trying to click it again, but it just would not let me back in. Figuring this was a glitch, we restarted the game. This then restarted the entire area which I had already spent like half an hour in. I gave up after that. I really think this game has potential. That's why I'm leaving this review. It's pretty and I'm sure it has a lot to tell. But it can't tell it if I can't even get through the game.

I really enjoyed this game despite it being so short for the price - the scenery was stunning and the story had me feeling emotional in some parts. I'm a bit disappointed that none of the achievements popped for me, and the final puzzle had my hands contorting in all angles to press the correct buttons at the same time (CTRL, Space, C, A, D, both mouse buttons and W?!) - I had no idea I also had to press W to move forwards and spent a lot longer than I care to admit trying to figure out how to get anywhere with it. For anyone with accessibility needs, that puzzle might be a little bit of a nightmare. Would still deliver pizza and be paid in feelings again.

【50/100】我不太明白这游戏在说什么 重大游戏设计失误环节： 本来想送个好评给开发者的，但还差5-6分钟通关的时候给我卡死了，后面不得不去看实机。 卡在需要同时长按 [b]A+W+D+Ctrl+Space+鼠标左键+中键+右键[/b] 的地方。我的键盘只能同时按下4个按键，多的按不了，也是头一回见到能在这种地方卡玩家进程的游戏👍，作者少设置几个按键游戏是做不出来吗？ 我还没谈这游戏里各种技术力问题呢：钻空隙出来视角鬼畜，车辆转向逻辑怪异，对话选项有1/3在屏幕外，渲染质量调成最低才能稳60帧，不能调分辨率，有时候Esc和Ctrl按好几下游戏才能成功反应，玩开头黑夜场景那段巨晕 等等。 这个剧本属于那种每句话都还行但组合在一起非常非常奇怪，我甚至都不知道作者到底想不想表达某个特定的观点。 如果想表达，那问题可能在于想表达的东西太多了，没有抓住一个特定的东西去具体阐述；也可能在于作者表达的东西太隐晦了，至少我get不到。 如果不想表达，只是想让玩家/主角体验这段旅程的意义（或者是一些抽象的事物）的话，抱歉那我确实没有感受到什么。 我觉得作者完全没有考究过他的作品应该如何向玩家传达“信息”，无论是具体的还是抽象的。全程散、杂、乱、过于自我了。

Really ended up enjoying this game. It is very much a walking simulator but you get your scooter for the need to go faster than the walking pace. The story itself was a lot more in-depth with feelings than I had anticipated but reeeeally neat to experience and very invoking of the feels. My only frustration with the game was the camera work and the sensitivity for it, I ended up playing it on controller to have a better time but still struggled with the sens even then. It didn't outweigh the rest of the game, which by the way? PRETTY. Absolutely GORGEOUS sceneries. Would recommend if you want a couple hours or so of mostly cozy, emotion-invoking gaming.

Gioco semplice quanto surreale, se state cercando un gioco con dei puzzle impegnativi skippate questo titolo, MA, se state cercando qualcosa che vi dia un'inaspettata soddisfazione nell'esplorazione, un senso di disorientamento e di tranquillità allo stesso tempo, A PIZZA DELIVERY fa proprio per voi. Una produzione indie corta, colorata e molto surreale, che va dal dark al quasi horror passando per il liminale. eu comecei e terminei esse jogo sem entender, eu sou a B entregadora de pizza, até ai OK, fui entregar uma pizza e parece que entrei em uma outra dimensão e durante o jogo tem uns telefones onde eu falo com uma pessoa chamada Earl e meu foco é ir pra casa... ai eu cheguei no final e entreguei pizza mais uma vez e é isso, meu cérebro explodiu, eu não entendi rs, tirando esses detalhes deu me perder na historia, o jogo é curtíssimo, joguei no teclado e mouse, foi bem tranquilo de jogar, tirando o fato da moto parece que esta na manteiga, é muito estranho e também teve o fato que no final travou tudo e ao reiniciar o jogo, voltou um pedação, mas como eu sabia oque fazer, foi rápido... o português do jogo é diferenciado, mas dar pra entender; ele é bem bonito, mas a historia me deixou boiando rs... só recomendo em uma belíssima promoção pois é muito curto ...

Je ne sais plus combien j'ai payé ce truc mais 7 minutes de jeu m'ont suffi !
